* Nope, but it just might as well be. I did the calculations and the bike is 1.33x the speed of running, which is 2x the speed of walking. Avoiding Trainers

It might be worth noting that in Gen. 3 (I haven't confirmed it in Gen. 4) NPC trainers that rotate or change the direction they're facing will immediately face the player's direction if you attempt to run past them. Smythe 03:06, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

FireRed and LeafGreen error

I distinctly remember that a player with Running Shoes travels at the same speed as a player on a Bike, in FireRed and LeafGreen. Can anyone confirm this, or add other games to which this is applicable?

  • Nope, but it just might as well be. I did the calculations and the bike is 1.33x the speed of running, which is 2x the speed of walking. Here is a video comparison I made.
