What is it?

What is a Revive exaclly? Is it some kind of Pokémon food? Because when I see one I always think of a Bulbasaur eating it. Glitchym1 19:08, 27 September 2009 (UTC)

They look like [ konpeito].—Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 19:53, 27 September 2009 (UTC)
  • My understanding, based on the Japanese (and Korean) names, as well as the fact that you can dig them up in the Underground in DPP, is that the Revives are shards of raw power which radiate healing energy to your Pokémon. The energy is of such a particular level of strength such that, not only is that energy depleted once your Pokémon is revived, but that, for regular Revives, it's only enough to replenish your Pokémon's HP part way.
  • TL;DR: it's kinda like how Thunder/Water/Fire/etc. Stones work.
  • (As a side note, it's too bad though that Revives don't replenish 50% of your Pokémon's energy, even if it's not KO'd...) -- Nick15 00:32, 7 February 2012 (UTC)

Seed?

I probably would have added this above, but I would have been reverted to replying to an old comment. ^^; In the manga, Emerald says that he 'managed to collect 99 revive seeds'. Does this mean that they're seeds? Littlmiget123 20:55, 1 March 2011 (UTC)

Eh...not sure...possibly a mistranslation...Ataro 21:00, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
Or perhaps referencing to Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. --SnorlaxMonster 14:42, 31 March 2011 (UTC)
I always thought they were some sort of crystal. --Rhino 15:38, 5 July 2011 (UTC)

Buyable in Pokemon Yellow?

I always thought you could buy Max Revives in Pokemon Yellow; at the Indigo Plateau Pokemart. I honestly thought I could buy those; they were worth about 5000 as my childhood memories recall. Is this true; or is that wrong? I don't feel like breaking out my Dodrio Tower and blowing my way through Yellow. --Rhino 15:38, 5 July 2011 (UTC)

Checked in Yellow. Nope, there are only normal Revives. And Max Potions. The most expensive thing is Full Restore (3000). --Maxim 15:59, 5 July 2011 (UTC)
Oh. Alrighty then. Man, I really thought you could... --Rhino 21:22, 5 July 2011 (UTC)
