The more I think about maybe it would it be possible for Dialga to travel to the Torn world also like in the movie. Probably not but it might happen I think. Then the Protaganast would have to go in the Torn world to capture it. That is what I think will happen. What is your oppinion? Rucario64 01:30, 20 June 2008 (UTC)

According to the movie summary at Serebii.net, the world was called the Torn World in the movie. However, since that summary was a rough, quick job, and had a plethora of errors (switching between English and Japanese names on a whim, as well), to trust that it got it right would be a bit of a dubious move. If anyone has a confirmation that the movie ACTUALLY says Reverse or Torn in the film (and I'm sure the translation of the words are not the same), then that would give evidence to move this article to join with the Torn World article. However, we're probably not going to get any lasting proof of that until December, when the DVD comes out in Japan; and I seriously question whether Nintendo of America and PUSA will actually translate these places as Reverse World and Torn World when the movie hits the States and when Platinum comes out. Merrick lies! As always! In the movie, the world is named 反転世界 Hanten Sekai, while the in-game world is named 敗れた世界 Yabureta Sekai, which also translated as "Reversed World". "Torn World" is not the best translation, made mainly to distinguish the two things. As the two names mean practically the same thing, they are still different words and diffrent names, which means that those two worlds are in fact two different things. Nope. The official English name for the Torn World is now the Ruined World. The Reverse World (or Inversed World, as Maxim states), is quite different from the Torn World. However, should the dub translate the Reverse World as the Ruined World, then that might be means to combine the articles. However, the Ruined World is more like a warp in dimensions, while the Reverse World is like a complete alternate dimension. I doubt now that they are the same place. Glacidea is more similar to the Flower Paradise than the Reverse World to the Ruined World, and Glacidea can't be the Flower Paradise, because it's near Mt. Coronet, rather than far north of the Pokémon League. Separate articles. Satosuke 14:49, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

According to Giratina and the Sky Warrior (00:23:16), Mugen said that Reverse World is a Torn World(Japanese subbed やぶれた世界) where rules are broken. In Diamond and Pearl Pokédex, Giratina is said to be a Pokémon that live in a world on the reverse side of ours. --Swampert 10:54, 27 December 2008 (UTC)
