: It seems to me that Rankurusu's name is the word "rankless", as in, "without rank". Being the Amplification Pokémon (presumably amplifying other things), perhaps its own actual "rank" (strength, whatever) is unknown, hence the name. Alternatively, it could come from "rancorous", meaning "showing deep-seated resentment". These depend on the story behind Rankurusu, but they sound interesting enough to be true. ~ Serial Colour 19:30, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

::I'm the one who put ran, because that's the kanji used in ranma. I looked at the meaning of both kanji and it's the ran in ranma that gives the word its meaning. --Phantomjunkie 22:35, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

Artwork

Could someone please edit the artwork for this Pokémon, because it looks a little badly cropped, due to the yellow in the hand. Pawsrent 23:03, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

Be patient young one, these are directly cropped from the magazine scans, we're going to have to wait for better artwork. Jello 23:21, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

Name

I'm not sure about the validity of the name origin, but if it is correct, why don't we cut out the middle-man and rename the article "Ronculus?" Wargle's article isn't "Warugaru." BulbaB 14:42, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

Version Exclusive and height correction

According to the official Black and White website, Rankurusu will be exclusive to White version. Also according to the site, Rankurusu is 1.0m, not 1.6m

Name origin

The article says that its name comes from ran (disorder), but it could also be from ranma (chaos). --Shiny Noctowl 16:53, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

It seems to me that Rankurusu's name is the word "rankless", as in, "without rank".
I'm the one who put ran, because that's the kanji used in ranma. I looked at the meaning of both kanji and it's the ran in ranma that gives the word its meaning. --Phantomjunkie 22:35, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
