Trivia

This really seems like fanwank to me. I mean, yeah, his name is Shinji, but does that automatically mean everything about him is an NGE tribute? His personality is pretty much the complete opposite of the NGE Shinji, so it really doesn't seem likely. Unless there's any proof that the writers actually meant to reference NGE with these character names, or they decide to introduce some second cousin named Asuka or something, I feel that it should be removed from the article. --Dual 16:56, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Do you think that maybe Paul his hard on his Pokémon because he wants to be better than Reiji? All this time I belived that Paul came from some strange family or was a member of Team Galatic but it turned out he's from a regular one. I can't understand why he would treat his Pokémon in such a way when his own brother treats them exactly the opposite other than he wants to surpass his brother in strenght. Nonetheless, it has always seemed more feminine to me. Almost all unisex names seem more feminine to me. Because it's anime stereotype to give gay males gender-neutral names (like アスカ Asuka or カオル Kaoru or even ヨシ Yoshi).
