Can we check the five percent figure for the kings rock held item, in an attempt to get one I caught around 20 and used Theif on another 15, yet did not get one  kings rock.

I was wondering if noting that Poliwhirl had individual fingers up until FRLG... and they even changed the RS sprite for Emerald to make it appear to have 'mittens' as opposed to fingers. Which is a rarity, since there are very, very few Emerald sprites that are different from the RS ones (but the only one I can remember is Snorlax 8|). I didn't put it up on the page yet since I know how annoying sprite trivia is, but at least it's not "IT WAS GREY IN GENERATION II AND IS BLUE IN GEN III ONWARDS OMG.", right? ▫▪<span style="color:#B16ABB;">Ťïňắ</span> <span style="color:#B16ABB;">♫</span><span style="color:#B16ABB;">♥</span> 02:16, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

001Bulbasaur RG.png Due to special coding in place in the article, the artwork featured on this article will change every year on February 27 and September 30 in celebration of the releases of Red and Green in Japan, and Red and Blue in the United States. This will only affect the artwork shown in the infobox. This changes every year, so when the time comes, here to return to the page and change the display.

It's sprite trivia, but

I was wondering if noting that Poliwhirl had individual fingers up until FRLG... and they even changed the RS sprite for Emerald to make it appear to have 'mittens' as opposed to fingers. Which is a rarity, since there are very, very few Emerald sprites that are different from the RS ones (but the only one I can remember is Snorlax 8|). I didn't put it up on the page yet since I know how annoying sprite trivia is, but at least it's not "IT WAS GREY IN GENERATION II AND IS BLUE IN GEN III ONWARDS OMG.", right? ▫▪Ťïňắ 02:16, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

this is why i was rather miffed wen everyone went anti-sprite trivia crazy. some of this stuff IS NOTABLE. there already is something there about it, but its not as precise, i say go for it. -- MAGNEDETH 02:57, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

Mouth?

Do Poliwhirl and Poliwrath have mouths?SONICバリヤ 15:47, 3 June 2011 (UTC)

The Princess and the Frog

Don't you think that exchanging Poliwhirl to Jynx on Pokemon Blue/Red is reference to fairytale in which frog turned into princess? I find this interesting enough to place it on trivia. Count Kuwaga 11:57, 5 July 2011 (UTC)

Uh, that doesn't really make any sense. And no adding trivia now Ataro 12:13, 5 July 2011 (UTC)

Favorite Pokémon?

In the Game Center GX interview (can be found on this page) Tajiri said that his favorite Pokémon was Poliwag, not Poliwhirl. (However, it could be that he likes the two equally...) Should the page be changed to reflect this? Azure Butterfly 15:40, 25 March 2012 (UTC)
