Okay so

Isshu has caused this to have an issue. They're different countries. What do we call this one? TTEchidna 17:37, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

I'd wait until we get more info from the games. If Isshu uses the National Pokédex (and, more importantly, calls it the National Pokédex) then Isshu is still the same nation as the rest of the games. Just because it's far enough away from another place to use new numbers doesn't mean it's not in the same country. After all, there are 30 different cities in the United States with the name "Franklin". --Purimpopoie 18:01, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

I'm gonna bring this up again

Because it needs to be. If Kanto-Johto-Hoenn-Sinnoh does not receive a name in BW, then I propose we move this page to Kantohjoennoh. TTEchidna 21:27, 14 September 2010 (UTC)

Why not put (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh) as a disambiguation for this one and (Isshu) for the other? The only problem would be the title length for the first one. Kantohjoennoh really just sounds weird imo. Turtwig's A-B-Cs (talk | contribs) 22:50, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
Though TTE's would be funny, A's does seem more practical though it might need a link template. Who knows, they might pull a Gen I and not reveal the location's name until a later game set either in Poképan or Pokémerica.--MisterE13 22:57, 14 September 2010 (UTC)

Unova

Pokemon of Unova is part of "National Pokedex", isn't it?--Martianmister 00:35, 30 January 2011 (UTC)

Honestly, if there's one thing about Unova that should be taken as given, that is the fact that it is located on a country other than Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sevii Islands and Sinnoh. It is extensively stated in the games, and it's been made a big deal about. "National" Pokédex is probably either a misinterpretation by Game Freak's part or a matter of tradition. Perhaps they thought it would be awkward to introduce an "International Pokédex" and rearrange the numbers in a more neutral way, and just as awkward to axe the current numbering, which has release time as the ordering variable. Maybe an International Pokédex without numbers as the ordering theme will be introduced (like the family ordering in FRLG), but even at this time, I personally don't see any reason to state Unova is on the same country as the other regions. --Ash_Pokemaster 15:03, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
