:: (Article creator) I guess so, but just to clarify, why do we have a Pokémon in the United Kingdom article? (Canada is partly French, so yeah.) --Darthrai (talk) 05:22, 23 February 2013 (UTC)

:::I'm not really sure why we agreed to have the UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand either, to be honest, but there they are. :P Alternatively, it occured to me that if we're going to keep articles like this, we should consolidate all the TV station articles into here like we did with some of the other countries. I remember the first Project Globe articles were partly converted from articles about TV stations in various countries, and then game/manga/etc info was added on top of that. Similarly, I remember there used to be a separate article for YTV that was absorbed into Pokémon in Canada (which, as Darthrai mentioned, also has Quebec French so it'd get its own article anyway). So I guess that would be my alternative choice. I still don't like this

Not only is this a stub (I seem to recall electAbuzzzz imposing a no-stubs-allowed rule) but I'm part of the team that considers this article kind of pointless. We are an English Pokémon wiki and essentially our whole wiki is "Pokémon in the United States" - this article just summarizes the contents of the entire wiki. I noticed in the edit summary someone said "there's no reason for it not to exist"... so what information does an article like this have to offer? What's special about Pokémon in the United States? Just about the whole wiki explains what Pokémon stuff is localized for the US. --ZestyCactus 04:20, 18 February 2013 (UTC)

Agree Everything on the wiki uses English-localized names (per the manual of style), and anything with a US release date has that date in the infobox of its article. I don't think that we need to keep this article either. ChiefbozX (talk) 04:49, 18 February 2013 (UTC)
