Pokemon in india that is shown on POGO is no more shown in Tamil and telegu! I think we should remove them - unsigned comment from Poke.geek (talkcontribs)

Wait, so to clarify, so when Pokémon switched to POGO, they stopped airing it in Tamil and Telugu, so it's available in English and Hindi only now? --ZestyCactus 00:06, 25 October 2011 (UTC)
Fixed it. Thanks for the info, I forgot that Pogo doesn't even have a Telegu feed. ♫♪エイディニズ♪♫ 09:10, 25 October 2011 (UTC)

I don't know about the marathon. But as far as Cartoon Network is concerned, it has been confirmed that CNI will be re-airing season 14. AdynizWanna talk? 18:12, 29 June 2014 (UTC)

Time Level Package

I read about the "Time Level Package", so whats this all about Pratik_12 13:58, 4 March 2015 (UTC)

Sorry for the late reply, but I have absolutely no idea what a 'time level package' is supposed to be. Looks like it was added back in December and without any citations whatsoever (no, 'my friend knows the authorities' does not count). I can bet that the bit about Jynx episode complaints is not true at all. It was a thing in the past once and it was dealt with. I am not saying that they didn't air the episode, I am saying that they did not receive a single complaint, knowing the Hungama audience and our local community. The only source that I could find (for both the Jynx thing and the 'time level package bit) was a comment made by a random user on Hungama's unofficial Facebook page. It is precisely why I would like to see an actual citation other than 'friend's uncle is the manager'. AdynizWanna talk? 07:49, 8 April 2015 (UTC)
I do not know whether they received complaints or not, but they at least never aired the episode of Holiday Hi Jynx again. → signed comment from PikaTepig999 08:15, 8 April 2015 (UTC)
And I think that we should not hide the information that episodes that were skipped, just their reasons. → signed comment from PikaTepig999 08:27, 8 April 2015 (UTC)
Regarding the episode not airing again... That doesn't confirm anything.
As for the other thing. If they actually skipped EP103, EP115, EP116 and EP131, then it was a mistake on my part and you can go ahead and add the episodes without mentioning the reason. AdynizWanna talk?
If you don't trust me in the matter of time level package, then check this comment. In this a person had asked to Nichiket Dighe (voice actor for Ash on hungama) on his facebook page that when hungama would start AG Series. Nichiket sir replied him that that day he dubbed the episode 23 of AG and the ending of Master Quest depends upon their airing. He also said that 1 or 2 episodes (among which is EP214) will be skipped as their time level package is over. This surely proves that other episodes skipped due to this reason (exept those skipped due to complains) the information is true. Also, check this comment. This comment was removed by the site author for an unknown reason, but before, this person asked Nickiket sir that why had they skipped Stage Fight and The Mardrian Island Miss Match so he said that they skipped it as they recieved some complains due to pokemon jynx so they never reaired Holiday Hi Jynx and these two episodes were permanently skipped. Also he said that all the epi featuring jynx will be skipped. Ducky Anna (User Talk:PikaTepig999) you too had seen this comment before and you replied him that you too want Nichiket's facebook page link remember? These all proves that it is true of my friend's uncle's friend to be a manager. We first asked him about all this and so I added to wiki accordingly. 2 other people (who don't know about Bulbapedia) wanted to know about this so he asked Nichiket sir about this. As both the reasons match, so it proves to be true of my friend's uncle's friend to be a manager. Also you have seen that we asked the manager about m01 then he told us that it would air this year only soon. I told you everyone in Ducky PikaTepig999's talk page and see its promo now finally aired. So now I am undoing all the information of time level package and complains with more info in the wiki. Yash Sen (talk) 17:39, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
First of all, I am not Ducky Anna. And second, another comment on that page states the person is lying. So, IMO, we can't really trust those comment. → signed comment from PikaTepig999 18:01, 13 April 2015 (UTC)

(resetting indent)Also, Adyniz had asked Yash to provide link to Nachiket Dighe's FB page. Can the link be provided here?? → signed comment from PikaTepig999 18:04, 13 April 2015 (UTC)

So basically, a random user is claiming that he talked to Nachiket, which we have no way to confirm, and we are supposed to take his word seriously? I am sorry, but that does not count as a reliable source and it does not confirm anything. He could easily be anyone, who is just making stuff up. Also, please do not add anything back until we have an actual source. AdynizWanna talk? 19:20, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
| This is the link to Nichiket Dighe's facebook page so check it out there. But he may not accept you as he accepts only some recognized people only. But still check it out for those two posts or comments where those 2 people of whom I mentioned above have asked Nichiket Dighe about all that. When you get it, undo that all information and add then the source link with it too. Yash Sen (talk) 15:15, 14 April 2015 (UTC)

(resetting indent) Look, you want to prove the source is reliable, so take a screenshot and upload it to facebook or google drive and give us the link. If the information seems to be correct then it will be regarded. I checked the webpage/His fb profile, there's not a single post about more info regarding to the problems in hungama airing order. He has just uploaded some pic of dubbing studio, that's it. I am not able to see any comment or post regarding "TIME LEVEL PACKAGE" sort of any thing. Why there is a rush to include that particular information in this page. Let someone confirm it through Hungama channel and have reliable source like an email from the team, then that particular edit would be considered. And one more thing, don't call anybody by names, it doesn't feel right Pratik_12 (talk) 07:01, 15 April 2015 (UTC)

The link works, but the it doesn't mention anything about skipped episode or their reason. If you had contacted them through a personal message, then please upload a screenshot of the conversation. In the meantime I will personally try to contact him. →PikaTepig999 15:19 15 April 2015 (IST)
Pratik, what do you mean by calling someone by names? →PikaTepig999 09:49, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
Yash Sen Called you "Ducky Anna" that's what i meant by, We should respect each other, that was my stand Pratik_12 (talk) 11:22, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
Tt was not an offensive name. Actually a fb account by that name is operated by me and my friends. I use it sometimes when I don't want to disclose real identity. If anyone disrespects anyone, they can undergo a block for going against the Code of Conduct. Even then, I'll just the remove that name, using < del > tags. → signed comment from PikaTepig999 13:47, 15 April 2015 (UTC) | Edit: 19:29, 16 April 2015 (UTC)
I already told you that Nichiket might not accept you. He neither accepted me as I am too unrecognized person to him. This link was given by that person about whom I already mentioned above in [| this] comment. Actually unrecognized people can't view any such post which has been asked by the recognized people. The person mentioned above is a recognized person and therefore might have posted a post in his timeline about all that and in that only he might have replied him which cannot be viewed by unrecognized people. Unrecognized people even can't comment in his fb page anywhere. As I am too unrecognized, I too cannot view those posts and therefore cannot upload any screenshot of it. If one has to become recognized to him, one have to send him a friend request to him as mentioned in his facebook page. Or other than these you will find no internet source anywhere as these all are just spoken statements by the manager of Hungama and therefore you will not get any internet source for all these. So if anyone is not ready to send him a friend request in order to view all those posts, then can I please get the permission to undo all those things in the wiki from Adyniz? Yash Sen (talk) 16:58, 23 April 2015 (UTC)

(resetting indent) I contacted Nachiket Dighe on Facebook, and he gave me a lot of information such as the voice actors of Tracey, Narrator and Pokedex. I will give a link to the screenshots of these converstions as proof. When I asked him about why hungama TV skipped those episodes, he'd said he did not know but added that most of those episodes were dubbed. When I said that these were skipped during 1:00 timeslot but were aired later during evening reruns, he said he didn't know more about that. → signed comment from PikaTepig999 17:30, 23 April 2015 (UTC)

And that site is a fan site. Most of the commenters are fans who also refer bulbapedia. And so they make various assumptions. So I don't think that these can be held as reliable sources. → signed comment from PikaTepig999 17:30, 23 April 2015 (UTC)
Did you asked him about the time level package and jynx episodes? Yash Sen (talk) 07:26, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
When I had asked about why the episodes were skipped, he said he did not know. So I din't ask about the time level package and jynx episodes. → signed comment from PikaTepig999 11:45, 26 April 2015 (UTC)
Then try to ask him that when will Hungama tv start S06. Yash Sen (talk) 15:26, 30 April 2015 (UTC)
Well, he hasn't answered my previous question, and can't ask a new one until he answers it. Why don't you contact him yourself? → signed comment from PikaTepig999 16:54, 1 May 2015 (UTC)

(resetting indent) I have contacted the Official Hungama TV FB page (I think so). I have asked them about why the episodes being skipped and when will the S06. I will wait for an answer till then Pratik_12 (talk) 17:07, 1 May 2015 (UTC)

What question have you ask him last time? Yash Sen (talk) 17:32, 3 May 2015 (UTC)

Marathons

In my opinion, we don't have to note down the information about every single marathon that ever airs on television. The article is supposed to summarize the events, and that means skipping whatever isn't notable i.e. almost every mini marathon that the network decides to air every now and then. It would have been fine, if it was a one time thing but it clearly isn't. I really dislike the broken chunk in the BW section, starting from the third paragraph (on Sept. 28 etc.). I wanted to get rid off it, but I thought having a conversation before doing so would be more helpful than people constantly undoing the edits. AdynizWanna talk? 07:28, 8 April 2015 (UTC)

I too think that they can be skipped. We have have a single line as "CN India had many programming marathons". Also, I think that their theme songs should also be removed> There are no definite lyrics to these. → signed comment from PikaTepig999 08:38, 8 April 2015 (UTC)
Also, all the marathons were advertised by CN as movies. Should this be included in the article??? → signed comment from PikaTepig999 14:00, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
Yeah, the openings for marathons need to go. The bit about CN advertising marathons as movies is not notable enough. So, we can leave it. I'm also questioning the notability of the Hindi PokeRaps, but that's a discussion for some other day. AdynizWanna talk? 12:20, 21 April 2015 (UTC)
Actually, once you yourself The Hungama TV poke raps are notable. And they are because they were the first original Hindi themes. → signed comment from PikaTepig999 05:21, 22 April 2015 (UTC)
I too agree that the marathons may be removed. Regarding Hindi pokéraps are concerned, I am not sure about it.MccoyZN 11:32, 26 April 2015 (UTC)
About the marathons, I am removing their info and also their theme songs. → signed comment from PikaTepig999 11:43, 26 April 2015 (UTC)

Well, do they even exist? MccoyZN 04:02, 27 April 2015 (UTC)
Well we do know that they exist, but about adding them to the wiki, it was decided that any user can make the page in their userspace if they are willing to work on it. Otherwise till now there is no contributor who can help with those languages. Check this for more. → signed comment from PikaTepig999 04:16, 27 April 2015 (UTC)

M01 to be of Original Japanese Version

M01 aired on Hungama TV is based on the original Japanese version and not in eng dub version. This is because the logo in the movie is seen to be written "Pocket Monsters" which seems to be of original Japanese logo for the anime (and the online videos about which PikaTepig said those videos are unofficial). Also, the dialogues and the background music are of japanese version. Also, the song Brother My Brother was not played in the movie as it is there only in the eng dub and not in the japanese version. Therefore, I am undoing it. Yash Sen (talk) 06:45, 6 May 2015 (UTC)

If you say online videos are unofficial, then why do you trust some comments from anonymous users on a website that only records cartoons from TV and uploads them? Anyway, videos of movies found online are not "unofficial" but "illegal". This is because the videos are taken from DVDs of the movies and uploaded. Hence I say that lets hide the information until we reach an decision. A simple way to reach a decision is to contact some person who has the English DVD, and ask him if the Japanese text is used. → signed comment from PikaTepig999 18:55, 6 May 2015 (UTC)
The thing is not only of the Japanese text, did you noticed that the background music in the movie and also the dialogues are same to the Japanese version!? Yash Sen (talk) 09:38, 7 May 2015 (UTC)
Background music is almost always same in both versions. And about dialogue, there was only one similarity with Japanese version, the trainer reffering to Blastoise as Kamex. About skipping the song Brother My Brother, a simple explanation is that they didn't dub it. → signed comment from PikaTepig999 15:46, 7 May 2015 (UTC)
Background music and dialogues in the part between the logo and the opening theme song is same to Japanese in the Hindi dub didn't you noticed? Also there are many other scenes too in the movie in which the background music and the dialogues are different in the Japanese version and the Eng dub version and in Hindi dub all those are similar to the Japanese. Also it cannot be that any song will ever not be dubbed (and that's a song between the movie not dubbed definitely impossible) because ever saw before it that any song in a movie or even any opening song of any movie skipped by Hungama ever saw before Mewtwo ka Badla? As I typed in the trivia about the reason of skipping the opening song of M01, its of course Japanese version. Also the song Brother My Brother was not skipped but not there only in the Japanese version. So that clearly means that the movie is of original Japanese version! What do you say about it? No XY after 1st two episodes

I saw this site http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/tv/programmes/pokemon/params/tvprogramme/programmeid-30000000549898419/channelid-10000000001690000/starttime-201505092005 which has given the timings and accurate episodes that are to be aired by hungama tv with first two numbers for season number and the last two being the episode number. On next saturday i.e. 15th may, it does not show episode 3 of XY is going to air. Can someone confirm this and the timings for the show or the 1st two episodes were just sneak peeks --Pratik_12 Talk 15:04, 10 May 2015 (UTC)

That site shows timings only for a few days. And sometimes shows the wrong timings too. In some cases the schedule is updated very late. Let's wait until next Saturday to see what happens next. → signed comment from PikaTepig999 15:08, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
In these four posts Hungama TV had said that they had brought the XY series. So this means that they had permanently brought it. Also about the season 17 theme song, it didn't aired for XY001 and XY002 but the ending credits with the instrumental version was aired after XY002. But don't worry the theme song will be aired in any future episodes of XY. Yash Sen (talk) 10:25, 11 May 2015 (UTC)
Judging from the status updates, I can assure you that it is not the official page for Hungama, but a fan-made one where someone is just pretending to be the authoritative figure. Also, a CEO almost NEVER runs the social media page but a dedicated social media team. Not to mention, it takes longer than two or so hours to get the details about TRPs for the aired content. And even if the network does decide to disclose the information, it usually comes in some form a press release and not a facebook update. The page reeks of fanmade. So, whatever info that comes from the respective page, please do not consider it 100% confirmed unless there is a legit source. AdynizWanna talk? 12:46, 11 May 2015 (UTC)
So, we will have to remove the information that we took from that page. Even this page will need to be edited. → signed comment from PikaTepig999 13:28, 11 May 2015 (UTC)

(resetting indent) Well, I admit, I have done a huge BLUNDER.....i did not wait and i saw the date of 15th August being configured like that way on my comp...well next sat is 16th and there is still no schedule for the same lets wait...and sorry guys...i will keep a check on my dates --Pratik_12 Talk 19:12, 11 May 2015 (UTC)

Of course that is the official Facebook page of Hungama TV. Check this comment in that FB page and also check all its replies and then you will know. Yash Sen (talk) 06:57, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
a) The level of English they have been using is definitely not up to par, especially for an official page for a network.
b) The official FB pages don't usually spend time pointing fingers at other pages for copying content and calling them fakes. They simply prefer to ignore it, or at most, they respond to the users's questions with a mere nod for the confirmation.
c) When linking to the trailers, they have used the Youtube trailers uploaded by a random fan. Later on, they supposedly made an "official" Youtube channel on March 23, 2015 and started uploading trailers on that channel. However, they were still recorded from television and didn't use the actual raw version of the content. Which is also one of the dead giveaways.
d) And again, I fail to see why a CEO would ever have to deal with something like handling the social media page and it hasn't happened just once.
That is more than enough evidence to call the page fake/fan made, if you ask me. AdynizWanna talk? 07:46, 12 May 2015 (UTC)

Hungama TV uses the red logo for Pokemon. That logo has been added to the article, but instead of a "®", the logo should have "™". This means that a new image will have to be uploaded. Well, I actually don't see any problem with the ® & ™ thing, but it is better to discuss this. So what should be done? → PikaTepig999 14:35, 18 May 2015 (UTC)
