Seasons

Pokémon TV currently lists EP058 as "S2 E3", or the third episode of the second season. It also lists the next 9 episodes in rotation accordingly. This conflicts with Bulbapedia's anime ordering, which indicates that EP058 should be "S1 E58", as the third episode of the second season is EP083. However, the other 40 episodes in rotation from Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova all match up to Bulbapedia's ordering system (except for episodes that were never dubbed, which are skipped). There are two different types of seasons: the Pokémon.com seasons and the US DVD seasons. Pokémon.com seasons are how the seasons were divided when the show originally aired, and the way Australian home videos divide them; these are usually 52 episodes long, unless it occurs at the end of a series (except for Johto/Hoenn, where there are some Johto episodes in Advanced) or there was an episode skipped (as is the case with Diamond and Pearl). US DVD seasons are the seasons that align with the openings. From Advanced Challenge onward, these two are the same.
