I'm not sure how accurate all this information is. "Pokemon League" is a term too often sloppily thrown around in the series, as is "Pokemon Champion" and "Pokemon Master." It's possible they left the idea of Pokemon League purposely ambiguous, but I couldn't be sure of that. Anyway, feel free to edit this page because I actually got myself confused while writing it out. -GreenGiant.

> Yeah, I was thinking of writing the article - but the whole thing is kept vauge in every version, and varies wildly even amongst itself.

What I'm wondering is - is the Indigo League the actual name for the competition? Considering that it takes place in Kanto, doesn't the Kanto League make more sense - especially when we have Johto League, Orange Leage, or whatever? Do the characters actually refer to it one way or the other?

The recent DP episode with Lucian seems to hint that trainers can't battle the E4 until they champion the regional tournament. Should we make a note of that, or wait until this point is expanded further? --Greengiant 04:24, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

Well, I dunno. We can wait a little while, see if in Japan they get to another of the members of the Elites before we get to Lucian here, and see if there's any more expansion. I'd assume that the dub'll stay spot-on with translation there, though. --TTEchidna 06:00, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

Pokémon League's similarity to the NWA

Is it just me, or does the Pokémon League act a lot like the National Wrestling Alliance did in the 60s and 70s? 欠番 19:29, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Junior Pokemon league

May the pokémon league ash participates be a junior tournament? i don't think that kids will face grown ups in tournaments, and i sincerely think that grown ups also participate, don't you agree? Kamus, the kpo... 20:05, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

They are not junior leagues. Many adults participate. Example: Johnny. --ケンジガール 20:22, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

Sinnoh League Article

So the Sinnoh Grand Festival already has an article that just stated how many ribbons people have. So shouldn't we make one for the Sinnoh League competition? --HoennMaster 23:53, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

Re-challenging Pokemon Leagues

  • If a trainer loses a Pokemon League, do they get to compete in it again, or is the league just a one-time event and that's a wrap for them? --Kid Sonic (talk) 16:07, 28 October 2012 (UTC)
In games - obviously YES. No idea about animé or manga, though. Marked +-+-+ (talk) 16:12, 28 October 2012 (UTC)

Images

Shouldn't there be some pictures of the Pokémon League as it appears in the games in this article? I'm hesitant to add them because the Pokémon League is not always referred to as just the building in which the player fights the Elite Four. Aggron989 (talk) 23:45, 17 January 2013 (UTC)

In other languages

Should I add an in other languages box as it is abscent for the moment. Also shouldn't the interwiki links to Pokéwiki and Poképédia be de:Pokémon Liga,fr:Ligue Pokémon instead of de:Top Vier and fr:Conseil des 4 as it is now because those links are also present on Elite Four? - unsigned comment from Raltseye (talkcontribs)

Feel free to add/change those. --Abcboy (talk) 16:27, 30 May 2015 (UTC)
