Formes

It says "Two new formes" but it does not say "of Kyurem." TorchicBlaziken (talkedits) 02:22, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

We won't know if they are formes of Kyurem until a source confirms it. Right now, it's all speculation.--ForceFire 02:26, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
While it is all speculation they look more like alternate forms of Reshiram and Zekrom instead. Frozen Fennec 02:34, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
Stated Kyurem here. But there's debate on whether they're forms or separate Pokémon. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 02:36, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
Ah, nice to know then. Wonder if they'll have something to do with Reshiram and Zekrom at all, also looking forward to a bit of change in the overall story plot. Frozen Fennec 02:39, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
Well, from what it looks like, it seems that it is combining Zekrom/Reshiram with Kyurem. I wonder how they will do that? Item? Special shrine? But about what Jo said above, they will be forms, as it says in Kyurems trivia "There is placeholder data for an alternate form of Kyurem in Pokémon Black and White". --×Rsrdaman× 02:59, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
Actually, if you watch the trailer for the new movie coming out on the Japanese website, it shows Zekrom and Reshiram's powers going into Kyurem. This further confirms that these are Kyurem's alternate formes, and not Zekrom's our Reshiram's. Mikk317 05:10, 6 March 2012 (UTC)

I saw the covers of the games, and the white and black kyurem's on the covers look completely different then normal white kyurem and black kyurem. What gives?--Supermon 12:38, 21 March 2012 (UTC)

There's also two "formes" for Reshiram and Zekrom (lit up and not lit up). They are apparently some "mode" (Formes with forms?). We don't really know much about them yet. --SnorlaxMonster 12:44, 21 March 2012 (UTC)

thanks. i thought that Kyurem had 5 formes or something!--Supermon 11:30, 2 April 2012 (UTC)

Names of mascots

Junichi Masuda has stated on Twitter that the names of the new forms are White Kyurem and Black Kyurem. ZMT123 03:32, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

Interwiki

Page is blocked, could you add an interwiki link to it:Pokémon Nero e Bianco 2?--Qwilava 08:37, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

US website

Doesn't appear to have been added. It's not much, but it's official. GoldenCelebi 10:57, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

I am reluctant to add it. It is just a sub-section, unlike this one. ♫♪ エイディニズ ♪♫ 11:21, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

Color's for representation.

To avoid confusion with Black and White I think the 2 colors that represent this game on Wiki pages should be a blue and red to match the color on each logo and background for the official site. What do you guys think? ArchedThunder 12:41, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

What about if it gets confused instead with the Generation I games Red and Blue? Just pointing out... Haxorus 12:45, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
All I have to say is Ruby and Sapphire. Besides they will be a different shade just like Ruby and Sapphire where and they will also be reversed, being Blue and Red instead of Red and Blue.ArchedThunder 12:55, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
Thank you to the person who changed the color.ArchedThunder 13:14, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
Wait, who changed it back and why?ArchedThunder 13:53, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

Mascots reversed?

I just noticed something on the new release. The Kyurem/Zekrom and Kyurem/Reshiram are reversed. On the original B/W, Zekrom was on the white side, and Reshiram on the black side. Its seems its reversed now.--×Rsrdaman× 15:28, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

Yes they are, but this isn't the right place for that discussion. Please go to the forums with comments/questions of this nature. --Pokemaster97 15:44, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

generation

why is it under generation v? is there any offical source to this (even though we know it might be true) -Pokeant 16:37, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

We don't really know if it is Gen V, but the fact that it uses forms of a Gen V Pokemon as its mascot make if all but confirmed. The way it looks, at least for now, is that they decided to ditch the 3rd game idea for this Gen and instead do two full sequels to BW. If they say these are a new gen or we see completely new Pokemon then we can start talking about this being Gen VI, but as it stands I think we should just leave it be.ArchedThunder 16:41, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

Trying to clear up some unconfirmed rumors

I suggest a paragraph be added to the article stating something like "There is no confirmation on whether these games are a third version or not." Bwburke94 20:26, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

The article doesn't even insinuate that, it says out right that they are second paired versions. 2 games can't be a 3rd version.ArchedThunder 22:43, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

What he trying to mean is, most people think that these games are the '"double" 3rd versions, like Platinum, Emerald and Crystal. But if that's so, you mean these are just the continued part of original B&W? There will be a real "third" version? That's almost impossible. - unsigned comment from Acellutor (talkcontribs)

Classification

Well, looks like it can have3 types-Dragon+ice+fire\electric.And can it be a new duo or trio with Kyurem or Part of the tao trio?--Shravs (New Bark Gym) 05:09, 27 February 2012 (UTC)

From sources, Kyurem has two new forms, each resemblin to Zekrom and/or Reshiram. So it would still be within the Tao trio. But 3 types is OP, and awkward considering the type advantages/disadvantages. I would say Kyurem would be Ice/Dragon but retaining the power of it's other form. My speculation point, but I would doubt 3 types. Chocos0 06:06, 27 February 2012 (UTC)

European Autumn 2012 Release Confirmed

Could someone with the powers to edit this page please add that Nintendo UK have confirmed an Autumn 2012 release for this pair? Source: http://www.officialnintendomagazine.co.uk/35866/pokemon-black-and-white-2-uk-release-date-is-autumn-2012/ Ryu Shoji, 10:56, 27 February, 2012 (BST)

North America release confirmed: Fall 2012

The American release window has been confirmed - see this article: http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2012/02/north_america_gets_pokemon_black_and_white_2_this_fall

I'm unable to add it to the article myself, so can someone who is able to edit it add the date? NFreak007 14:55, 27 February 2012 (UTC)

I just found out about this myself and updated the Bulbanews article. This page is now fixed too. --SnorlaxMonster 15:01, 27 February 2012 (UTC)

Redirect sentence regarding the BW002 episode

Greetings, I respectfully disagree with the unitalicising of the English title portion, "Enter Iris and Axew". On this site, all episode titles are italicised when put against regular unitalicised text, and the opposite should be done in this case as in other examples elsewhere in life. Haxorus 15:51, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

It is already italicized, which is what is used for titles. When it is surrounded by italicized text, it doesn't need to become un-italicized. This is how everything else does it anyway. It is more important to have the title in italics rather than in contrast to regular text. --SnorlaxMonster 03:23, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

3ds or ds

will this be on 3ds or ds i need to know - unsigned comment from Pokefanboy (talkcontribs)

It'll be on the Nintendo DS, but will be compatible with the Nintendo 3DS. Yes, the press release was confusing. By the way, it's a good idea to sign your posts with ~~~~, which is converted into an automatic link to your userpage. - unsigned comment from GoldenCelebi (talkcontribs)
That article mentions this. Don't mean to sound rude, but this is exactly what this site is for. --HoennMaster 18:05, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

English artwork

Possible to use these artworks? Black & White 2 -- ℂℏɨ₡ƙ℮ᵰᵴ∂ⱺ☮яϰŊøɓ 23:53, 13 March 2012 (UTC)

Those look fanmade. They look nothing like the leaked Japanese boxes and they always use the same. --ケンジガール 00:02, 14 March 2012 (UTC)
Those aren't fanmade, actually- they're on Playasia and other pre-order sites. They're only placeholders, though. Official placeholders, but placeholders nonetheless. Yamiidenryuu 15:04, 14 March 2012 (UTC)
Look at them, they were made in MSPaint. --Maxim 15:08, 14 March 2012 (UTC)

Two official artworks?

How come Black Kyurem and White Kyurem have two official artworks? I'm not saying it's a mistake or even a lie, you can easily check that it's true by watching the Flash intro animation of the Japanese website. But that's the issue here: why are there two different yet official artworks for both of Kyurem's new Formes? SatoMew 17:33, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

There's also two artworks for Reshiram and Zekrom (lit up and not lit up). They are apparently some "mode" (Formes with forms?). We don't really know much about them yet. --SnorlaxMonster 13:36, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

Trivia?

Would it be relevant and/or noteworthy to add that these games mark the second time the main series Pokémon games have the number 2 in their names, with the first time being the name initially announced for the original Gold and Silver (ポケットモンスター2 金・銀 Pocket Monsters 2: Gold and Silver)? Even though the 2 was eventually dropped for Gold and Silver, it was still an official yet temporary name. SatoMew 17:49, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

I'm totally for this. Something like: "These games are the first games in the main series to be released with a "2" in their name, though the Japanese versions of G/S were intended to have tis number in their name but this was dropped before release" ?? As long as there's a nod to the almost-Pkmn 2: G/S thing I think it's a great idea! Oshawhat? 09:14, 12 April 2012 (UTC)

Second set of direct sequels?

Aren't Black 2 and White 2 the second set of direct sequels in the main series? Gold and Silver are direct sequels to Red and Green (likewise, HeartGold and SoulSilver are direct sequels to FireRed and LeafGreen). The only difference is that they're from separate generations, since for all we know, Black 2 and White 2 are Generation V games like Black and White. If so, shouldn't this be mentioned in the article? SatoMew 22:31, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

Considering that it hasn't even really been confirmed that these are sequels, I'd say no. Wait until we know for sure at least. Yamiidenryuu 00:11, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
Don't worry, I'll wait. I can't edit the article anyway. I was just pointing out this so it can be taken in consideration when we have full details about the games. SatoMew 13:56, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

No info?

Ummmm... The games are available for preorder. Shouldn't there be info on the storyline and stuff? it's-a me, anonymous

One would think there would be more info by now, but the reason is simply because no more info has been released. When more info is released it will be added to the article. --Pokemaster97 22:50, 2 April 2012 (UTC)
We will be getting lots of info next Pokémon Smash! (they said they would be revealing B2W2 info on that episode). --SnorlaxMonster 11:14, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

Australian Release Date

In the infobox, it lists the Australian release as Spring 2012. At first this really confused me as I thought only Japan got it this Spring. Because of the different seasons in the Northern and Southern hemisphere, and because a lot of Bulbapedia's users come from the Northern Hemisphere, could we add a tooltip to make it Spring 2012. I think this would help a lot of people who came to the site. MajesticRayquaza 09:08, 9 April 2012 (UTC)

I don't think so. The seasons will become irrelevant once we get an actual date, and the only people who should really be concerned with the release date are the people it applies to (i.e. Oceanians.) Plus it might seem unfair. If we put a note for the Northerners that South Spring = North Autumn, then we should do the same for Southerners that North Autumn = South Spring. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 09:16, 9 April 2012 (UTC)

Amazon release date

Not sure if this means anything but I just saw that Amazon (through the official Nintendo seller) has the two versions up for pre-order with a release date of December 31, 2012 (I'm not sure if that's their generic date for an unknown release or the actual date though). OnixPachirisu 18:52, 9 April 2012 (UTC)

It's just a placeholder so they can take pre-orders. Nintendo already announced a fall (Sept-Nov) release. --HoennMaster 18:57, 9 April 2012 (UTC)

More Release Date info

Per Play-Asia, the Japanese Version's release date is June 23rd, and the US release will be in October: http://www.play-asia.com/paOScore/19-71-8s-49-en-15-Pokemon-43-8s-18-2.html

Ice cover

I don't think the article should say that Unova is engulfed in ice because it says in the Bulbanews article that it is unconfirmed whether that is actually part of the region or it is just there to cover up areas that haven't been revealed yet. PkmnChmp5 23:38, 12 April 2012 (UTC)

I agree too. There seems to be a confusion. Han Ji-Wan 23:47, 12 April 2012 (UTC)

Towns

I am 99.9% certain that there are 3 towns in Southwest Unova, not 2. Han Ji-Wan 03:15, 13 April 2012 (UTC)
