Looks like Octi?
Is this really notable? It's just an octopus. That's like saying that (Insert person who has and elephant doll) has a doll that looks just like Phanpy. I have removed it once, but I don't want to start an edit war over it. Rawr I say! 14:09, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

waterlog
Should we say that Octillery was the only pokemon that can hit every pokemon super effective? Since it can learn both waterlog and grass/electric type move? jomphol 08:40, 29 December 2010 (UTC)
Arceus is unaffected by Waterlog, because it has Multitype; but it is true that Octillery is the only Pokemon able to use Waterlog able to gain a type advantage from its moves (excluding Hidden Power and Natural Gift). --Swagmander 03:52, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
Octorok?
Octllery bears similarities to the Octorok enemy from the Zelda series. Both are red octopus monsters that are capable of shooting rocks from their snouts. (Octillery can learn Rock Blast.) While the Octoroks from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time may not be red, they have "sleepy eyes" like those of Octillery. In the original Legend of Zelda, yellow spots were seen on the Octoroks' heads. Is this worth a mention? --Swagmander 03:46, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
Possible Mistake on Physiology of Octillery?
I noticed the article says that Octillery has 8 legs, yet both in the anime and in the back sprites of Octillery, it only has 7: 5 in the back, and 2 in the front. --Emdude 03:17, 26 July 2011 (UTC)
