This article very directly says that Darkrai cannot be caught unless the player attends a Nintendo Event. This is not true, as I just figured out today. Browsing around on YouTube, I found a video (found [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YRKPj4tcybE here!]) that goes into intricate detail on how to catch this sucker without any external cheating device (Action Replay or GameShark) or Nintendo Event. Now I don't know exactly how far into the game one must be for this to be done, but within an hour or so of learning how to [[Tweaking|tweak]], I was able to add Darkrai to my collection. Is there any specific reason that Newmoon island is represented with a full moon or that Fullmoon Island is represented by a crescent moon? Englishtoffee 08:24, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

Are you sure that it's Arceus?

Look, was it ever stated officially, in game that the "Booming Voice" telling the story of Cresselia, Newmoon and Fullmoon Island, and Darkrai was actually Arceus speaking? I mean, aside from Serebii.net, which is somewhat of a fansite, I don't think I've heard of anything else pointing to it. Heck, for all we know, that could have just as easily been Darkrai talking! But this happens after Darkrai was defeated/captured. I don't know if it can speak through Pokeballs, and if it were unconscious, it certainly wouldn't be in any fit condition to talk, let alone in a booming voice. I know one possible way to find out: Hack the Arceus event and catch it, THEN catch Darkrai. See what that changes, if anything. I'm Missingno. Master. See my new and improved user page, and comment on it! 12:18, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
That would prove nothing. I say we just remove the link. The Dark Fiddler - You enter a poorly lit room... 12:35, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

Darkrai can be caught without a Nintendo Event!

This article very directly says that Darkrai cannot be caught unless the player attends a Nintendo Event. This is not true, as I just figured out today. Browsing around on YouTube, I found a video (found here!) that goes into intricate detail on how to catch this sucker without any external cheating device (Action Replay or GameShark) or Nintendo Event. Now I don't know exactly how far into the game one must be for this to be done, but within an hour or so of learning how to tweak, I was able to add Darkrai to my collection. It's the same method basically as using a walk-through-walks code to get the to the event Darkrai at Newmoon. *tc26* 05:36, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
