Unwilling

I'm in Lilycove and my Gyarados is "unwilling" to forget Surf. Does anybody know why? And If so should it have some sort of mention in the article? I don't know if this is a normal thing and I'm just finding out about it, but this has never happened before and I'm a little confused. Has anybody else have this problem or is it just me?Zabbethx 22:28, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

More or less, you don't have another Pokemon with Surf. tc26 22:30, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

Yep, that fixed it. I tought Surf to my Rayquaza and Gyarados was able to forget it. Thanks a bunch TC26. Zabbethx 22:36, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

No problem. That's one of the most common things that occur. I added that to this article also. tc26 22:48, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

Why?

I don't understand why this is done. It says in the article that it is so you won't get stuck in a place you need to use an HM move. This is really inconvenient, and I can only see one reason HMs would not be available so that you can just teach the Pokémon that. This can easily be remedied by barring HMs from being put in the item storage in the PC. Are there any other reasons HMs would not be available for use? --File:Cloroxsig1.png 'Clorox File:Cloroxsig2.png 03:11, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

I don't think anyone here works for Game Freak or Nintendo, so nobody here would know the reason. Oh, and I don't think images are allowed in signatures. - s.Combusken 03:34, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
