I think that the Pokemon that you can play as in magnagate dungeons are the three starters' evolutions that are not you or the partner? Is that correct? I have axew and pikachu. :I believe so for the first part. I have Axew and Snivy in the normal game, and I always get the other three or a pairing consisting of two of the three I didn't choose.
