Name

I'm surprised that this hasn't been named Sir Aaron's Lucario, seeing as it is his Pokémon. But is ownership lost after the trainer dies? But now they're both dead, isn't Lucario Sir Aaron's Pokémon once more? Like in the ending where they eat chocolate? TESHIGIGAS 486 16:30, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

I'm guessing the reason it was named Lucario (anime) is because although it belonged to Sir Aaron, it wasn't really shown under his ownership except for in flashbacks. Also, Bulbapedia as a rule that we don't name Pokémon articles after characters of the day. Now, while Sir Aaron isn't technically a character of the day, perhaps it was the same sort of reasoning in naming the article the way it was named. That, and the fact that it's consistent with the other major Pokémon characters in movies (ie, Jirachi, Manaphy, Mewtwo, Latios, Latias). Personally, I think it's fine the way it is. --PAK Man Talk 17:20, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
I just got curious, but now I know follows a pattern. Thanks anyway. TESHIGIGAS 486 17:22, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
Lucario is notable enough for an article - that isn't an issue and doesn't affect the naming. The name is such because Lucario was an apprentice of Aaron rather than actually owned by him. (If Ash hypothetically trained under Riley, he wouldn't become Riley's Ash.) --FabuVinny T-C-S 17:35, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
That would be funny to see XD. TESHIGIGAS 486 17:36, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

Deceased

WE DON'T KNOW THAT LUCARIO DIED. If that was the case, then why would we see Lucario and Aaron in the end credits? Not a vision of the past, for they were eating chocolate. Not Heaven, because Pokémon doesn't bring that sort of thing into play. When you die, you don't become a bunch of light and just vanish. I say it's more like suspended animation. Sadly, going either way requires speculation. How do you know there is no Poké-Heaven? Maybe they they ghosts when eating the chocolate. Or maybe you're right. Who knows for sure? The Dark Fiddler - 10% Satisfaction Guaranteed! 02:03, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, Kidd did say Sir Aaron was in suspended animation.--Starlight_the_ampharos 22:57, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
