I'm not sure on the format so I won't do it, but Pokemon.com just announced Darkrai's distribution. - unsigned comment from Waspinator (talkcontribs)

Someone should add a section for the Mystic Ticket, Aurora Ticket, Old Sea Map, Eon Ticket, the Metang handed out at the 2005 Pokémon Rocks America, and the Celebi and two Pokémon of your choice handed out at the 2006 Journey Across America and the event in Europe. themaestro2.0 17:41, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

Could someone help with the Darkrai Wondercard? It keeps putting the text on 2 lines. It should read as: えいがをみてくれて ありがとう!!(next line) したのサイトに アクセスして(next line) キ-ワ-ドを にゅうりょく してね!(next line) キ-ワ-ド=オラシオン(next line) http://kids.yahoo.co.jp/rd/p/

I'll also add the ROCKS Metang and JAA Info - Vereux0 4:37, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

Can someone fix the MYSTRY Mew picture? I can't get it to display as a thumbnail for some reason. - Vereux0 19:35, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

Mew event in 1999

There was one at Toys "R" Us in December, 1999, which is essentially the reason why I'm here on Bulbapedia today. Anyone remember the date? TTEchidna 04:11, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

  • Allegedly it was on November 26th, 1999. Lemme dig up a few links. I remember it too because that's where I got my Mew too. However I lost it when I lost my Silver cart in a car accident. Do you remember its Trainer Name and Number? - Nick15 05:13, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
Umm, that comment was left there two years ago... Solar Dragon 05:15, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
      • Oopsie! That's what I get for not checking the article to see if Mew a la 1999 wasn't already listed. Or wait, is it? This was the only place on Bulbapedia that mentioned Mew 1999 that I found, maybe I didn't search hard enough. - Nick15 05:22, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
November 26, 1999... Yeah that was the day after Thanksgiving. I doubt if I still have the Mew... but I'll pore through Red, Blue, Yellow, Stadium, and Stadium 2 to see if I have it. TTEchidna 06:35, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
Please do! I've been dying to resurrect that Mew via PokeSav and I want to know what exactly it's info is! Thanks! :) - 07:02, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, I'll probably do it as well if I can, considering it's coming up on the tenth anniversary of me actually getting Yellow. But alas, I've got no access to any games besides FR, D, Pt, and JpSS currently. TTEchidna 07:12, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
Haha, same here. That is, I played Yellow in Japanese before finally buying it in English. It was my first Pokemon video game, and I bought my Yellow GBC at the same time. Sadly, the GBC doesn't exist anymore, though the cart does. :) ♫Memories....♫ But uh, yah, take your time. I guess I'd say you're my best bet in getting that info as all other possibilities ran dry... - Nick15 07:18, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
The only thing I wish is that I knew where the sticker my parents got went. TTEchidna 09:06, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
Ditto. Mine I think burnt in a shed fire this past summer, along with a lot of my other Pokemon memorabilia (like all my t-shirts I got at various Pokemon TCG tournament events). Hopefully though eBay has all of that available for me to rebuy, including the stickers... [crosses fingers] - Nick15 01:21, 9 October 2009 (UTC)

Salamence?

What is this Salamence thing about? --Theryguy512 02:13, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Is it really notable? Japan has events every few months. I don't see the Focus Band Octillery here.--Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 03:17, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Darkrai

According to Serebii, Darkrai will be available in Toys R Us on the 31st of may and 1st of June. Can anyone confirm this?User:Darth Cookie Monster 02:26, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

Yes: http://www.pokemon.com/#news_/XML/news_251.xml --Waspinator 03:08, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

Yes if you to the link that User:Waspinator gave it's say so and that news has been on for like last week. CoolPikachu!
And of course, it will be added when someone gets one. Until then, no crappy baseless speculation. TTEchidna 08:46, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
KUser:Darth Cookie Monster 13:18, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

Should the US Darkrai be added cause on poke-beach.com because they realsed some info. CoolPikachu!

It's less than a week away, so when someone gets it we'll know. TTEchidna 07:24, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
ok I'm planning to go anyways...--CoolPikachu! 07:25, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
Wouldnt OT Be TRU and ID be 09297 Keirou 07:01, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
Don't ask. It isn't ALWAYS TRU.But, then again, I ain't American. It's the Θρtιmαtum♏Talk|Links07:19 28 May 2008
I got one today. It's OT is ALAMOS, not TRU. YinYang 06:31, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

I got the Darkrai and sent it to PBR, but the game won't let me use it on Wi-Fi. Why is this? --Shiny Noctowl 18:12, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

I thought it was because of the classic ribbon? Boywonder01 22:24, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

The event Manaphy (which also has the Classic Ribbon) works just fine, so that can't be it. --Shiny Noctowl 02:16, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Orasion is not the password for pokemon.com --HoennMaster

It's "orasion" and the Classic Ribbon only prevents it from being traded on the GTS. - tc26 03:31, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Then why can't I use it on Wi-Fi? --Shiny Noctowl 02:52, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

I found this on Pokémon.com. [1] Should this get a mention? BlueJirachi 23:24, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Yes it should.--CoolPikachu! 23:28, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Except I have no idea how to input such data... -_- BlueJirachi 00:50, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

McDonald's Pikachu

Shouldn't that be added? ♫CoolPikachu!♪

Gamestop

They are giving out Deoxys but is it true?--CoolPikachu! 01:21, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

Yes. --Filb 18:04, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

So it's just a copy of the Dialga VS Palkia VS Darkrai presale ticket Deoxys?--Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 05:04, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
Yes.--CoolPikachu! 06:15, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

TCGWC Pikachu

Does anyone here have a TCGWC Pikachu? I'd like to know what the Wonder Card says. I'm planning to update the Wonder Cards article in the German "PokéWiki". I just couldn't find its Wonder Card information anywhere. :( Thanks. --Filb 18:04, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

Which platforms?

The page doesn't describe which platforms one needs to bring to these events to get the promotional Pokémon. Machinedramon 21:49, 21 June 2008 (UTC)

Help?

Is it alright if I separate this topic by year? It's getting too big. Also, I don't know how to change this page's name without moving it.tc26 23:37, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

Well of course there's no way to change the page's name without moving it...with what you want to do though, (and I doubt that we need to worry about preserving the page histories for legal purposes like Wikipedia), I'd say make this page into a disambig and just make new pages for the years.--Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 23:58, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
So you mean, this will be a disambiguation (how do you do that?) and i make an article for each year? tc26 00:11, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
There's nothing special to disambiguations. They just link to other articles. You could just make new pages, copy-paste the content from here, then make this page into a collection of links to the other lists; or you could move this page to "List of Nintendo promotional event Pokémon (disambiguation)" (or something similar) and make that into a collection of links.--Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 00:44, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
It looks so different from the others. tc26 00:52, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
It only looks different because you included the introductory paragraph and the "See also" section, to be honest. And that makes it not really a disambig or a list...I would move it to "Nintendo promotional event Pokémon" or "event Pokémon"...some kind of general term.--Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 00:56, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
...you know, since "Event Pokémon" already exists, why not make this page a plain disambig after all? Or a redirect to Event Pokémon? We can just link to the lists there.--Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 01:06, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
That should do it. tc26 01:19, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
