Complete the dex or encounter every Pokémon?

Ok, the article says you have to complete the three Kalos dexes, minus the bird and possible Mewtwo. Well I own every Pokémon in the three dexes save for Gliscor, and I received the oval charm regardless. From what I can tell, it looks like as long as you seen 150 Pokémon in each dex (possibly only 149 in the Mountain dex) you will receive the charm, since the 3 birds are excluded and when you have them they bring the Central dex's count up from 150 to 153.

So, do you have to OWN every Pokémon to complete a dex like in the old days, or from what I see, is it that you only need to see them now? should the article say Complete, or Encounter? Yamitora1 (talk) 06:04, 19 January 2014 (UTC)

• Last I checked, you only have to see them. I'm still working on completing mine, but others who have completed theirs said that they only had to see the Pokémon. Trak Nar (talk) 06:06, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
