why the heck is the mystery dungeon recruit rate listed as 0.1% ??? it joins your party automatically in the storyline, so surely thats 100%? 折り紙ガイ - 離す 貢献 15:28, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

That's what's in the game data. I think you can refuse to recruit it at that time and get it later. --FabuVinny |Talk Page| 12:08, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
That's not true. Latios and Latias are one-time only.Kiryu 05:03, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

Appear possibility?

What is the possibility of catching a Latios without going to that special island (eg: 3000 to 1)? I caught mine in Verdanturf. - unsigned comment from BlueGasMask (talkcontribs)

The possibility is A million to 0. Θρtιmαtum♏Talk|Links11:46 16 Aug 2008
In Sapphire (and Emerald if you select red at the TV) it can only be obtained by going to the island or trading. You should even be able to catch Latias in Verdanturf - there's no grass there. --FabuVinny |Talk Page| 12:08, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
There is no Latias or Latios in Verdanturf in any game. They appear around the grass of Hoenn, you could maybe hack the game and make a grass there. But that's the only way to get a Latios there, I won't give you tips on hacking, not here, maybe on YouTube, but not here. TheBlazikenMaster 14:13, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

They also appear on the water routes. But yeah, there's no tall grass or water in Verdanturf. ~$aturn¥oshi THE VOICES 14:40, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

Sorry, I think I meant it was on the route beside it, where you find all the volbeats.BlueGasMask 09:57, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

Then you have Ruby and/or selected blue at the TV in Emerald. In either case, Latias is the one at the island. --FabuVinny |Talk Page| 17:21, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

Shapeshifting

In Pokémon Heroes, Oakley mentioned that Latios could also shapeshift, not just Latias. Is this worth mentioning in the "Special Abilities" section? Taromon777 21:49, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

More than one

I think it should be worth mentioning that, Like latias , most trios, and others, that latios isn't a legendary with one member only (at least I don't think so, since the games show others with him, and other sources seem to confirm this as well.)
