Appear possibility?

In Sapphire (and Emerald if you select red at the TV) it can only be obtained by going to the island or trading. You should even be able to catch Latias in Verdanturf - there's no grass there. --FabuVinny ^{|Talk Page|} 12:08, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

There is no Latias or Latios in Verdanturf in any game. They appear around the grass of Hoenn, you could maybe hack the game and make a grass there. But that's the only way to get a Latios there, I won't give you tips on hacking, not here, maybe on YouTube, but not here. TheBlazikenMaster 14:13, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

Shapeshifting

"Latios has the highest max Special Attack of any Pokémon when holding Soul Dew except for a Shuckle using Power Trick" is something I really question, because doesn't Power Trick modify Attack and not Special Attack? It should simply say in the Trivia that Latios has the second highest maximum offensive stat (Attack and Special Attack) of all Pokémon, except for Shuckle using Power Trick. How would that work? Only STABs by lvling up

Out of all Legendary pokemon Latios and Manaphy are the only two to learn only STAB damage dealing moves by leveling up. Does it worth adding into Trivia? --ЫъГЬ 14:52, 2 December 2010 (UTC)

Possible origin of Lati@s

While browsing through the web some time ago I found a mythical creature that shares some traits with the Lati duo. There is only a pair of male and female, feather stumps instead of legs, producing another pair before dying, and having 'ion' in the name. They could possibly be based on this creature. Mega Latios biology

" Upon Mega evolving, Latios becomes larger and it changes colours from blue to violet. Its face is now framed by whitish protrusions and its ears are pointed and longer. Its jetplane-like wings are now located on its forelimbs, which are larger and have a white triangle near its elbows. Mega Latios no longer has a triangle marking on its chest and its feet are longer. "

The triangle gets moved onto the wings, iirc. The only differences between the two are Latios has red eyes and is bigger than latias, and latias has yellow eyes.----BigBadBatter 01:25, 24 February 2014 (UTC)
