Flash Cannon
Why can Kingdra learn Flash Cannon, but not Solarbeam. I know it may have to do with the type of Kingdra, but the moves are both close to the same idea. Both store and release light. Any ideas? --PsychicRider 03:14, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
Light is the least important... it's just because of the type combination. Yeah, if you think I didn't notice, Typhlosion learns solarbeam in Gen IV, but that's an exception. hfc2X 06:25, 21 June 2008 (UTC)

Yes, Kingra can't learn any move (except Hidden Power) to damage Empoleon at least normally. It was already written here, then deleted, now it is here again. Do we need this trivia? Now we have a lot of new Pokemon, which can't damage some other, like Doredia, learning only Grass and Normal moves (except Hidden Power and Dream Eater) can't damage Metagross, or ... or any Steel-type Pokemon.
