According to some sources, you can transfer an unlocked difficulty mode from one White 2 cart to another, or from one Black 2 cart to another, but I've found zero conclusive evidence of this. This would be necessary if you eg. wanted to start a new game in Challenge Mode in Black 2, but this article is somewhat ambiguous about whether it can be done or not, as it simply states that difficulty modes can be transferred to opposite versions. | |||

Transferring difficulty mode to same version
According to some sources, you can transfer an unlocked difficulty mode from one White 2 cart to another, or from one Black 2 cart to another, but I've found zero conclusive evidence of this. This would be necessary if you eg. wanted to start a new game in Challenge Mode in Black 2, but this article is somewhat ambiguous about whether it can be done or not, as it simply states that difficulty modes can be transferred to opposite versions.
