Origin

Could the fact that it mostly learns moves involving blades/razors and has high Attack also suggest that the origin of Kartana was also influenced by the idea of papercuts (it even learns Cut and is the only one in Gen 7 to learn it)? I think papercuts aren't too specific or obscure so they are worth considering. Kikugi (talk) 11:08, 17 December 2016 (UTC)

That's a possibility worth mentioning. At the very least, it can't be ruled out in any way.--UB00 (talk) 02:37, 30 December 2016 (UTC)

Signature Move Cut as Biology

I moved the sentence "Kartana is the only Pokémon that can learn Cut through level up" from Biology to Trivia because it has literally nothing to do with biology. Someone then undid my edit, saying "No. This is too important to be shoved all the way down here." When Volbeat was the only Pokémon capable of learning Flash through level up, the sentence explaining this was in its Trivia section, not its Biology. This statement, and Kartana's Cut statement for the same reasons, has everything to do with Trivia and nothing to do with Biology. Just the fact that the Trivia section is at the bottom of the page isn't good enough of a reason to put a piece of trivia in the wrong section. Scribbl 20:36, 6 February 2017 (UTC)

It's Bulbapedia policy that signature moves go in Biology. Crystal Talian was the staff member who decided that, if I remember correctly, during the Biology section overhaul she spearheaded a few years ago. If Volbeat has it in Trivia, that page is the one that's wrong. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 05:56, 7 February 2017 (UTC)
That really doesn't make any sense, but if that's their policy I guess there's no arguing with it. Most Pokémon with signature moves don't have that in their biology though. Is it only signature moves that are HMs? Scribbl 12:34, 7 February 2017 (UTC)
All Pokémon whose signature moves are valid to the current generation have their signature moves mentioned in their biology, some worded differently to others.--ForceFire 13:08, 7 February 2017 (UTC)
