Magikarp

Should Magikarp perhaps be considered as being acquired on Route 3 instead? I know that technically the Mt. Moon Pokémon Center is located on Route 4, but is there anyone who actually thinks of it that way? And is there any practical reason that it needs to be listed as Route 4? - unsigned comment from Schreiber (talkcontribs)

The Pokémon Center is on Route 4 when Magikarp are obtainable. Therefore, Magikarp are obtainable on route 4. Doesn't matter how many people consider route 4 to be part of route 3. ←{Berrymaster|Talk|Contrib}→ 19:56, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

fishing in generation i

is there really a need to list those pokemon there even though we can't even fish there? -Pokeant 04:28, 3 July 2010 (UTC)

You can fish here. There is a small water area in the eastern end of the Route. Ishu bagaria (talk) 14:39, 1 September 2015 (UTC)

Spearow

I found Spearows at 00:40, which is considered night, and jigglipuffs are fairly rare. I am playing Herat Gold version, so I changed the numbers a bit.

Surfing and fishing Pokémon in Gen I

There's a need to list the Pokémon which are able to find with Surfing in Generation I! Why does that not exist? Are they the same as in Cerulean? Certainly the informations about fishing is redundant, cause in Gen I there's no place to fish! LaBumm 04:31, 21 September 2011 (UTC)

Hidden Area

how come there is nothing about the hidden area on Mt Moon where you need the float on air glitch? if anyone would like I can show proof http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJ4WqmjlgmI&feature=youtu.be&a I did not program this in but came across it. So should this be added?

Hm, first I'm hearing of this. It's entirely possible that all it is is that nobody's come across it before.- unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 04:25, 18 June 2013 (UTC)

Connecting Locations Error

Before my edit, the route template shows that Mt. Moon lies north of Route 4 only in Gen II and IV. This is incorrect. In fact, the only way of reaching Mt. Moon in Gen I and III is by through Route 4. So I'm correcting it by removing the remark to show that Mt. Moon lies north of Route 4 in all 4 gens.

Ishu bagaria (talk) 14:46, 1 September 2015 (UTC)

That's because the area with the Pokécenter is counted as Route 4 in Generation I and III, thus making Mt. Moon part of Route 4, not north of Route 4.--ForceFire 14:57, 1 September 2015 (UTC)
The cave entrances still lead north though, in the same way as in Gen II/IV. On most other pages, if the cave entrances are exclusively north of the route, we label the location as north of it (e.g. Route 42 & Mt. Mortar). --SnorlaxMonster 05:31, 2 September 2015 (UTC)
