Ash's Larvitar

Since Ash's Larvitar was technically never officially under his ownership, just under his care and command, do we want to include it in the sentence in the trivia section? Just thought I would ask before I removed it. --ジェダイナイトディーティーブイ 06:39, 27 July 2012 (UTC)

Thank you KG, for answering my question for me by fixing it. --ジェダイナイトディーティーブイ 07:12, 27 July 2012 (UTC)

Gender

I believe Ash calls him a male while looking down at him from the vent, would that be enough to confirm his gender??RBK (talk) 17:20, 8 August 2012 (UTC)

No he doesn't; only the fanmade subtitles do. There are no separate third-person pronouns for genders in Japanese, so it's just subber's mistake.--Den Zen 18:16, 8 August 2012 (UTC)

Ok, I will admit. I messed up. Sorry.

I thought I did my research before adding that trivia, but apparently I didn't do enough research. I totally forgot about Dawn's Togekiss.

It probably has something to do with the fact that I only checked Brock's Misty's and Ash's pages before adding that trivia, I totally forgot to check Dawn's.

I appreciate that someone was defending me and reverted the removal of that trivia I made, but really, I'm the one who messed up by not doing enough research.

I will be more careful about doing research in the future. Stuff like these are the reasons I should discuss a trivia first before adding it. TheBlazikenMaster (talk) 23:06, 8 December 2012 (UTC)

I'm wondering, would it be appropriate to compare Iris's Dragonite with Ash's Charizard?

Those two Pokémon have one big thing in common. Neither of them listen to their trainers and take the battles into their own hands. Sure, Ash's Charizard obeys Ash now but back when it was newly evolved it ignored Ash's Charizard and took the battles into its own hangs.

That's exactly what Iris's Dragonite acts like right now. (as of the latest episode released in the US.)

I'm thinking about making a trivia comparing those two Pokémon, or even a section. Of course I would never do something like that without discussing it first, so that's why I'm asking. What do you guys think? TheBlazikenMaster (talk) 22:15, 13 December 2012 (UTC)

Comparison trivia between Pokémon is no longer allowed on the site. --HoennMaster 22:18, 13 December 2012 (UTC)
And why is that? Also, are you sure that's the case? Because I do notice some comparisons in trivia sections of some species. (on the Machamp page it is being compared with Alakazam and Conkeldurr.) TheBlazikenMaster (talk) 22:24, 13 December 2012 (UTC)
I think he means with anime Pokémon. Many actual Pokémon are considered comparisons to other Pokémon. In the games, Charizard is not related to Dragonite at all. ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 22:29, 13 December 2012 (UTC)
Yes, sorry but I did mean anime Pokémon. The staff decided that because a good portion of trivia on their pages was just comparisons. --HoennMaster 22:36, 13 December 2012 (UTC)
Ok, I understand. I'm currently reading the policy pages, I want to understand this website better and its rules. I really want to be known as a good editor on this site, and I don't want to be reverted a lot, that's the main reason why I usually discuss before editing.
