Mine

Is there something specific you need to do to get it to appear in the mine? - unsigned comment from Missningnoworshiper (talkcontribs)

It's cheating only. The common method is "By using the walk through walls code to walk over water..." when with a partner "...the player can trigger a wild double battle with an Invisible shiny Bulbasaur and a real Pokémon." as stated in the article. --SnorlaxMonster 00:39, 8 April 2010 (UTC)

In SoulSilver

I found an Invisible Shiny Bulbasaur (hatched from egg) in SS by putting two male Pokémon in the daycare and using a "Fast Egg Obtain" code for the Action Replay, as well as a "Fast Egg Hatch" code, and the game freezes when I try to open my party. However, when it is sent out into battle, it was a Shiny Female Mudkip, which I know is impossible, isn't it? Just in case that helps. I also think this should in fact be merged with http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/-----

Pokédex

I changed it's pokédex to 0 and under since if you do -1 instead of 0 in AR pokemon modifier you still get invisisble shiny bulbasaur. If for some reason you think it should be changed back feel free to edit it.

Deletion

Glitches are as much a part of the Pokémon 'mythos', so to speak, as cannon characters are. Therefore, I'm against deleting this article Manga-in-a-bottle

Define 'mythos.' "Canon" is spelled "canon," not "cannon." And, as another blow to your delusions, canon is OFFICIAL information. Read the article on glitches on Wikipedia. Then, read the definition in your local dictionary. Glitches aren't supposed to be there.

-File:Spr 3e 186.gifPolitoed666File:Spr 3e 186.gif

It's not a part of the canon but we don't limit ourselves to canon. Articles on glitches - as long as they are real - are accepted. --FabuVinny T-C-S 02:18, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

Appears to be same as this. Move?Dark0805 18:48, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
This:

(so named because it has no sprite, sparkles like a shiny Pokémon when it appears, and uses Bulbasaur's cry)

DP:

When sent out, it will have Bulbasaur's cry and will sparkle as if it were a shiny Pokémon.

Correction, i think deleting is the better course.Dark0805 13:19, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

But can we be sure it's the same? After all, ----- has a sprite, and this glitch does not. Can anyone find proof that they are the same?--PikamasterADV 13:46, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

move this discussion to here, for the nonce. We need some firsthand accounts, and i may have been hasty in moving it. I don't claim to know anything more than what i read. However, considering the subject matter and relative newness of the subject i suggest we leave it be.(redirected)Dark0805 (talk|contribs) 18:55, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
The only differences between ISB and ----- are ISB's lack of a sprite. ISB is most likely a variant of -----, or the other way around. This article should probably be deleted.
Seconding delete. This is basically just a variant on -----. Vekter 16:09, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
Actually, if you encounter ISB, and look ABOVE where the sprite should be, theres the bottom of the ----- sprite. also the shadow is shifted far to the right, maybe its a ----- which shifts the sprite upwards and the shadow to the right? 折り紙ガイ - 離す 貢献
It should not be deleted they are not the same - unsigned comment from Pikaboy27 (talkcontribs)
Please explain how the two are different. BTW, there is a merge discussion over here. --SnorlaxMonster 07:33, 1 April 2010 (UTC)

Catchable?

Just a question on this article, is it a catchable glitch or not a catchable glitch because when you attack it the battle ends, but has anyone tried using a master ball on it, I didnt capture one and wont try because i dont want my game freezing. --Zakuro x Cynthia 16:39, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

As far as I know, it freezes if you try to catch it. Vekter 16:08, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
Don't know for sure, I would think that either the game would crash, end the battle, or assume you were aiming at the legitimate wild Pokemon. DavidJCobb 19:37, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
Could someone try? I don't have a Replay, but would like to know. If you did the Oreburgh version of it, it may work out. Theininen 21:06, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
I tried the version from the video I put a link to, and you catch it, it comes up with Pokédex entry(does this every time) and then there's nothing where it should go.SonicPikachuThe No.1fan 18:12, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
Is it safe - unsigned comment from Pikaboy27 (talkcontribs)
Tried to catch it using R4i cheats, froze the game after sending out one of my 999 master balls just like what Vekter said - [HUKBALAHAP Commando]

Another way to obtain it/Another glitch

I've gotten this through a different way, and found another glitch when getting it.

  1. Get an Action Replay.
  2. Make sure you haven't done the Riolu egg event yet.
  3. Use the walk through walls cheat.
  4. Go to Iron island. Get to, erm, I forgot his name, but the guy that follows you around.
  5. After he starts following you, walk around the stairs then walk through them (just so you can go up them without triggering the event of him leaving you).
  6. Exit the cave, then go on any spot of water where you would find wild Pokémon.

This is where it gets interesting. As the battle starts, instead of.... that one guy's sprite, it will be a clone of you. You should encounter a wild ISB, and the clone of you will send out one too. Don't believe me? Try. Also, I may put up a video soon. Crüsäder 19:24, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

...anybody? Crüsäder 19:34, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I here ya. Interesting. --ニョロトノ666 19:37, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

ANOTHER way

I found a video on YouTube how to get Invisible shiny Bulbasaur. It's at http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=YHrw6ZC8BXU. I put a link on the page, you can move it if you want or change it, or even (please no) remove it.SonicPikachuThe No.1fan 17:55, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

The Double Way

You can see one by using a walk through everything cheat and getting a partner. Get the partner to walk on water or something and run into a wild pokemon. It will be a (insert pocket monster here) and a D. |\/| | Z Z | |\| G Y 3 Z

What I put...

I put: "In some rare cases when the player inputs an Action Replay code wrongly may result to a permanant roaming invisible shiny bulbasaur." This happened to me on one of my first diamond acounts. It wouldn't go away! This is true, I swear(As in vow not that kind of swearing). I eventually deleted the account. I don't want people thinking that I'm lying, I'm just contributing my info for the good of Bulbapedia.

I find that highly unlikely. In any case, I fixed your wording a bit and left it there pending decision by someone other than me. LordArceus 19:07, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

Capital 'S' Or Not?

Which is it? Since ISB isn't the Pokémon's real name, it isn't defined. I would argue a capital S, but the shortlink for 'shiny' automaticaly makes it lowercase. LordArceus 19:07, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

No capital. It's not a proper adjective, nor is "invisible". It's known as "invisible shiny Bulbasaur" because there's no sprite (#000: blank data), it gives the shiny "pa-cha-ching!", and its cry is that of Bulbasaur (drawing from the default cry much as Missingno. did). TTEchidna 03:53, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

Is this video good enough?

I found a video of ISB being incountred in a Platinum ROM by walking on water. I'd add it, but I'm not sure if it's high enough quality... anyway, I'm going to look for a DP/Oreburgh Mine video.----[[User:Vulpixel|<font color="orange";>Vul</font>]] <small>''([[User talk:Vulpixel|<font color="yellow";>pixel</font>]])''</small> 18:03, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

In the Party

I caught an invisible shiny bulbasaur but it didn't appear in my party. I caught another Pokémon (staravia, if you were wondering) and when i looked in party (shock horror) the staravia was there, but not where it was meant to be. Let me explain. There are 6 party spaces right? Spread out like this:

right? It turned out like this:

Ho-Oh Lugia

Dialga Giratina

Staravia

↑↑↑↑↑↑ OMG!!! When I go to the PC i see a ? in it's place that can't be moved, and putting a Pkmn over it deletes the Pkmn in the last party place. Anyone know how to get rid of this vermin? SpecialK Leiks Lucario and The Celebi Glitch 16:10, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

try restarting. To keep those Pokémon safe, trade them to another game temporarily and trade them back after doing everything again. Before deleting the previous file, check to see if the ? Pokémon disappeared. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 16:13, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
I just realised i can use Pokésav on it. SpecialK Leiks Lucario and The Celebi Glitch 16:46, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
