I was adding in Hugh's Challenge Mode teams (which is really just higher levels and more money earned), but it said Template include size is too big. I didn't save those changes obviously because then some templates wouldn't be shown. How can we fix it so that people can see his Normal Mode & Challenge Mode teams? Really?

Really? --Maxim 16:18, 17 April 2012 (UTC)

Yup. 梅子 16:42, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
I'm not sure if that's a good idea. I think that Rival (BW2) works better for the temporary article name. Also, we're not gonna call the girl character Hana, are we? --Maxim 17:05, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
We have a precedent set for using fandom names as placeholders when there are no known official names to override it (eg. having Lyra at Soul (game) prior to learning her name was Kotone). The fandom name in this case sounds rather silly, yes, but that doesn't change the fact that it has indeed become the fandom's name for this character. It's not like we're presenting it as the actual official name, and imo it doesn't look as sloppy as something like Rival (B2W2) would. 梅子 17:18, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
Also (I couldn't think of the best way to explain this earlier, but now I've mulled it over), when the time comes that we will inevitably have to relink everything to his official name, it will be much easier and efficient to double-click-select a single word to replace, rather than manually highlighting a group of words and parentheses. Essentially, it's just going to make our jobs a whole lot easier, especially when we'll have a whole other bunch of info to worry about upon the games' release. 梅子 20:29, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
I don't think this page should be called 'Hihihiroshi'. I don't care if Rival (B2W2) looks untidy, 'Hihihiroshi' is only a fan name, meaning it shouldn't be called that. I mean, it would be exactly the same if we called Snivy 'Smugleaf' before its English name was officially revealed. Seeing as we never speculate on Bulbapedia, and we never go by rumours or fan-made stuff either, I think the name should be changed to just 'Rival (B2W2)'. Calling the page 'Hihihiroshi' is both ridiculous, as he would never be called that, and unconfirmed too. Please change it to Rival (B2W2). Don't Hug Lucario! 14:56, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
No. As I have already explained above, we have a precedent set for using widely-used fandom names for things with no official name to override its usage. The Smugleaf argument is irrelevant because we always had the official name of "Tsutarja" to override it. 梅子 03:27, 18 May 2012 (UTC)
Agreeing with Umeko, and to add my own 10 cents, June is right around the corner so we'll be getting his official name soon, it's not like people have to put up with "Hihihiroshi" for a year. Also, the name is still part of trivia, so the fan name will still be mentioned in the article regardless if people like it or not. Rai Marshall 03:37, 18 May 2012 (UTC)

First Battle

Can we just take that out, or add more? -- Pringles 00:23, 8 June 2012 (UTC)

Why? Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 00:52, 8 June 2012 (UTC)
I agree with Pringles. If there is going to be starter pokemon info, why can't all three be put up, instead of just the player having Oshawott? What about Tepig and Snivy?--Pokemon26 13:38, 8 June 2012 (UTC)
Because we only know what his Snivy is going to have. How are we supposed to have Oshawott and Tepig's moves if they've never been seen? We're using what we have so far, and that's a few lines, and a single battle where the player chose Oshawott. The game will be out in a few weeks, I don't see why we need to remove it now, just so it can be re-added again (because someone already removed it once) later with the exact same information on it. It just seems like giving ourselves more work and a waste of time. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 16:43, 8 June 2012 (UTC)
Ok. Thanks. -- Pringles 23:37, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

English trailer.

According to English trailer, he didn't received starter. He already had it, as he said "I'll use my <starter> that I raised from an Egg!". Since when Bianca gives out Eggs? Marked +-+-+ (talk) 15:23, 30 June 2012 (UTC)

Challenge Mode

I'd say the best option would be to split Hugh's Challenge mode, and if possible, Assist mode parties into their own pages, like what is done for rivals that appear in more than one set of versions. Example: Cheren in BW. - Chosen of Mana 00:03, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
