:I've been discussing that as well. I'm getting Alpha Sapphire today (my Thunder Fang came with Treecko, BTW), and I will test a few times with Torchic and Mudklip before making what will hopefully be a final edit on this. I plan to review some Let's Plays as well. Of course, through Chaining, identical Pokémon to all three can come up later, but the tutorial one is preset to one of the three. Birch's Gift Pokemon Gender
Is the gender pre-determined and/or locked or something? I've gotten nothing but females from the Professor. I know it could just be sheer luck, but getting three ♀ starters is like super unnatural. I picked Cyndaquil, Oshawott and Chimchar, all three have only a 12.5% chance of being female. Yamitora1 (talk) 09:48, 18 December 2014 (UTC)
