I don't think that the statement about the fact that Haunter is the only pokemon that kills. Any pokemon can kill if they wanted to, and Shedinja can steal the soul of anyone that peers into the crack on its back.

Yes, I agree. Several Ghost Pokémon have similar statements about stealing your life. And I hardly think Gyarados' famous rampages end with zero casualties. --DarkfireTaimatsu 21:08, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

You can live without a soul, just look at Sabrinia. But Haunter causes tingling UNTILL death. Not death. The games say it steals your life away. Um hello a little cruel to the pokemon dont you think? Well there are usally warning about Gyarados and it's rampages.

Gaspar?

I've seen a lot of Haunter on GTS nicknamed Gaspar. Would anyone happen to know anything about this? --Lime 00:35, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

It may just be a popular nickname or might translate into a word or phrase that says something about the pokemon or trainer.--Machamp ion 22:17, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

Actually the reason is because there is a Haunter you can receive in an in-game trade that has the nickname Gaspar --Wynautluvr 18:45, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

Probably because they piss them off. I'm sure most people only went through with the trade because they thought that it would evolve into a Gengar when all was said and done.--Dual 22:29, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
