I added Monferno to the list of Tutorable Pokemon in Pt/HG/SS. Reason: Confirmed by in-game play. (I was able to teach Ifrit Gunk Shot while he was still a Monferno.) - unsigned comment from ArtemiSerebii (talkcontribs)

Level up?

It says that Octillery is the only non poison-type pokemon to learn Gunk Shot by leveling up, but don't you need to go to a move tutor to teach it? --"FiMbUlWiNtEr2O|2" 02:44, 16 December 2010 (UTC)

Something to add to the Trivia (if that's OK)

I think the reason monkey pokemon like Infernape and Vigoroth can learn this move is because real-world monkeys fling their fecal matter at opponents, and the "gunk" is a form of trash in this move's case. Is it safe to add that to the trivia? BNKTalk 20:54, 9 January 2012 (UTC)

No...I don't think that's needed. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 21:15, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
Why not? It's factual. BNKTalk 11:42, 28 July 2012 (UTC)

gulpin

should gulpin be under the "via breeding" section even though it learns it by level up anyway? Djmaster 03:43, 24 April 2012 (UTC)

If it was not an egg move then Gulpin would require both parents to know it for the child to know the move on hatching. As an egg move, only the father needs to know it for the baby to have it. It's relatively uncommon for moves to be both egg and level up moves, but definitely not unheard of. Werdnae (talk) 04:09, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
