If you use Power Trick and then Guard Swap, does that swap your Attack and Special Defense stats? Or does it not take the switch into account? Me and my fellow torchics agree on this - Sk8torchic. 23:10, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

Power Trick and Guard Swap are independant. Power Trick is ONLY switching the user's Attack and Defence, while Guard Swap is ONLY switching the user's Defense and Sp. Defense with the opponent. Hope that helps. R.A. Hunter Blade 23:45, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

In particular, mega evolution, power construct, primal reversion, and stance change.

Ally Switch into Guard Swap

in a Sword/Shield double battle, if you Guard Swap with an ally that has used Ally Switch in the same turn, Guard Swap fails. Is it a bug? Does it occur with other Swap moves? Does it occur on other gens? Y2110 (talk) 19:41, 12 December 2023 (UTC)
