Any Shaymin can use Gracidea?

I got USA Platinum this morning and I transferred my Toys 'R Us Shaymin over. The lady in Floaroma town gave me the Gracidea - but when I used it on a different Shaymin, it didn't work. It says it has no effect. It was daytime and my Shaymin wasn't frozen. I don't know about it working on just any Shaymin. The other Shaymin is from an AR. I'll try again a few times tomorrow.

Disambig

I have a really strong feeling that most people will be looking for the in-game item when looking for "Gracidea", not the movie place. I vote for a disambig! --Maxim 09:21, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

But is there really a point to disambiguate two pages? Surely a hatnote on one or the other is enough.--Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 09:24, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
But isn't the in-game item more important? And some people (especially new ones) don't have the habit of looking onto hatnotes. (not that I care about them, do what you want) --Maxim 09:26, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
Meh, being the first thing noticed is why it's at the top of the page.--Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 09:31, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
Maybe, but there's still no reason that "Gracidea" should lead to the article of the place. The item is more important and that's what the most people would have in mind when looking for "Gracidea". --Maxim 09:32, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
The place is called Gracidea and the item is called Gracidea Flower. I think that about sums it up. — THE TROM — 09:34, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
Not anymore. The in-game name of the item is "Gracidea". Not to mention that "Gracidea Flower" is 15 characters long. --Maxim 09:38, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
I see. I still prefer it as it is. — THE TROM — 09:49, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
But I don't see why. Game things > Anime-only things. Isn't that a rule? --Maxim 10:04, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
No idea, I generally don't follow the rules :p Got a precedent we can follow? — THE TROM — 10:05, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
Nor do I. I think admins would decide. If not, then leave it as-is, since it's a purely formal thing. --Maxim 10:08, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
