Rejected predecessor
Before "Gotta Catch 'em All", there was another pharase considered that was dropped because it could not be trademarked. It was mentioned in an issue of Nintendo Power. Anyone remember which issue it was?

- Please see this. "Catch" and "all" aren't even capitalized there. And "'em" wouldn't be because you're contracting out the letter that would be capitalized: T. Honestly, dude, wanna go on a proper noun binge, go find every instance of "pokemon" and "you" on the site. TTEchidna 20:27, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

Possibility
If "gotta catch 'em all" means you have to capture at least one of each one of each kind Pokémon there is, I think it's impossible to do it. Crystal, from Pokémon Adventures, is a pro at capturing Pokémon, even though she attempted to catch Suicune but failed. From Pokequesthero 02:20, 22 January 2012 (UTC).
