First part

Is this article needed? It just appeared in one episode. File:Ani448MS.gifJmathFile:Ani447MS.gifTalkFile:Ani448MS.gif 18:04, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

As did Max's Ralts, Jessie's Shellder, Ash's Raticate, Ash's Seaking, Misty's Seaking, Jessie's Magikarp, James's Hoppip, and James's second Victreebel. I think I've made my point here. -- Glitch and Official Pokémon. There is no real difference between the two. In my opinion, the two should be considered equal!-- quoted by Missingno. Master 19:30, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

Don't forget Drew's Butterfree. The most useless trainer Pokémon page on Bulbapedia. --File:Ani048MS.gifケンジFile:Ani183MS.gifガールFile:Ani123MS.gif 04:54, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

Except Max's Ralts, all of those articles are not important. I have no idea why they are here. File:Ani448MS.gifJmathFile:Ani447MS.gifTalkFile:Ani448MS.gif 19:33, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

Bulbapedia logo.png This user dreams of Bulbapedia being complete someday.

That's why. And that accounts for glitches as well.486PokeManiac102492 19:34, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

Those articles don't make much difference if they are there or not. So why bother?File:Ani448MS.gifJmathFile:Ani447MS.gifTalkFile:Ani448MS.gif 19:40, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
O no, we didn't list a really unotable Pokémon. Bulbapedia is AUTOMATICALLY considered incomplete.
Guys, seriously. The 'In the anime' section on the Pokémon page is there for a reason. We don't need to give unnotable Pokémon their own page, just give it a breif mention on the In the anime section. Tina δ 19:47, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
I second that. File:Ani448MS.gifJmathFile:Ani447MS.gifTalkFile:Ani448MS.gif 20:03, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

For a second there, I thought Misty was going to visit Ash, Dawn, and Brock in Sinnoh and introduce her newly evolved Golduck... Oh well... I don't think they'll wanna evolve Psyduck anyway. And I don't know why anyone would wish Bulbapedia would be complete on day. Then we'd have nothing to do. --File:Ani048MS.gifケンジFile:Ani183MS.gifガールFile:Ani123MS.gif 04:54, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

My sentiments exactly! If someone wants bulbapedia completed, then that means the anime and movies are cancled, the games are discontinued, all outside references to Pokémon are forbidden and all trading cards, mangas, and figures are burnt to a soft fine powder. No one should want Bulbapedia completed!! Moldy orange 05:05, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
It can be completed for at least a day. Then something new is released and it's incomplete again. TTEchidna 23:54, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Moving?

Golduck (anime) or Golduck (Orange Islands) would be more appropriate, just in case Misty's Psyduck ever DOES evolve. TTEchidna 22:28, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

There's also that fact that it never actually belonged to her. --FabuVinny |Talk Page| 22:34, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
Yes. Of course... then we'd have to do something about that damn Larvitar... TTEchidna 23:50, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
And Haunter... - Cassius335 22:27, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

Now that it's not Misty's Pokémon anymore...

Is it really needed? --ケンジガール 04:08, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

Larvitar wasn't even Ash's YET we still have the article for it... --Force Fire 09:57, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
Larvitar has a case for existing, since it was a mini-arc in and of itself. Golduck, OTOH, was a one-shot... - Cassius335 12:30, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
Whether or not it belongs to Misty isn't the key claim to notability. --FabuVinny |Talk Page| 13:46, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
So, for sake of discussion: What is? - Cassius335 12:10, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

BECAUSE MISTY THOUGHT IT WAS HER PSYDUCK! She was so happy that her Psyduck wouldn't b as annoying--KukiTalk 15:07, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

Is that it? - Cassius335 21:32, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
It's no more or less notable than any of the various COTDs you guys have articles about. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 22:10, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

(anime)

Kenji-girl, you might want to have a look at the "In the anime" section of the Golduck page. There has definately been more than one Golduck in the anime! - Cassius335 23:40, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

So is it staying here? Or should I not change all the Golduck (Orange Islands) links to Golduck (anime)? --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 07:47, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
How many important anime Golduck have there been? This one's like a CotD. TTEchidna 08:11, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
Umm Cassius... We do have Jigglypuff (anime) yet there has been more than one Jigglypuff in the anime... That's a stupid reason for Golduck to remain Golduck (Orange Islands) when we don't have an article for any other Golduck but this one. So should we change Jigglypuff to Jigglypuff (Kanto)? --ケンジガール 08:20, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
This and that are different. Jigglypuff is a recurring character throughout the early seasons, showing up in Kanto, Orange Islands and Johto, plus a couple of times in Hoenn. This Golduck showed up once in a single Orange Islands episode. Changing it from "Golduck (Orange Islands)" to "Golduck (anime)" was pointless, since the original name worked perfectly. - Cassius335 14:42, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
It was long. Typing that in would be annoying. We don't have any other Golduck that we are going to mention so what's the big deal? It doesn't matter that it was only in one episode. Spoink only appeared in Hoenn for two episodes but we don't call it Spoink (Hoenn). Personally I think this page should just be deleted. It's not even that notable. --ケンジガール 19:06, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
The reason we have the article is bcuz Misty thought she finally evolved her annoying Psyduck!--KukiTalk 19:09, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
But she didn't now did she? --ケンジガール 19:13, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

The phrase was "Thought she finally evolved..." so the answer is actually yes!--KukiTalk 19:15, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

You are completely missing the point of this argument... --ケンジガール 19:17, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

No, cuz I pointed out Y Z ARTICLE IS NOTABLE--KukiTalk 19:20, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

Yes. OK. Thank you.
Now, can you point out why it should be at either (anime) or (Orange Islands) instead of the other? Because that's the discussion we're having right now. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 08:42, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

It should be Orange Islands, because that's where this particular one was found--KukiTalk 11:49, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

Finger

Does it look like Golduck is flipping people off or what? §#!π¥£!Ψ@Ϛ#µ 20:29, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

Er . . .

I have to agree that I don't think this article is needed. It's also stupid that I made an article about Reggie's Staraptor, which was much more notable than this, and it got taken down.

Golduck was only in one episode and really was not notable. Don't come at me with 'because we went Bulbapedia to be complete' because then they wouldn't have taken down Reggie's Staraptor. And don't come at with 'because Misty THOUGHT HER PSYDUCK EVOLVED' crap, either. Neither are good reasons.

Reggie's Staraptor taught Ash's Staravia Brave Bird.
Golduck was there.

ShinjiLover 05:54, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

She's right about that one... --ケンジガール 06:58, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
Thank you very much. Actually, (this is a tad off-topic, but I'll get right back on-topic, I promise) three admins told me that creating a page about Reggie's Staraptor would be a good idea. Then one took it down, the jack-off. . 'Scuse the language, it just made me angry. . Anyways, I'm not saying that I mind Golduck being here, I'm just saying that a very unnotable character hasn't been removed, yet a notable character was.
