The episode's only airing right now. Why was this moved on the 12th? - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 13:13, 17 September 2011 (UTC)

Because we found out her name before it aired. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 13:15, 17 September 2011 (UTC)
Well, how? Pokemon.com? I was under the impression we didn't trust them with names of characters of the day for upcoming episodes because they've reported them incorrectly before. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 13:18, 17 September 2011 (UTC)
....But it's the official TPCi site. If we can't trust them, who can we trust? We can trust them, I say. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 13:20, 17 September 2011 (UTC)
Just kinda conflicts with what's said here. They've been wrong before, wait till it airs, and all that. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 13:25, 17 September 2011 (UTC)
Considering we changed the Gen V Pokémon to their English names based on what Pokemon.com said, I think they're trustworthy. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 13:29, 17 September 2011 (UTC)
They have not been wrong during the Best Wishes series yet. So I'm letting it slide until they are. --ケンジガール 13:30, 17 September 2011 (UTC)

Protection

Should this page be protected now that we know Pawniard is set to evolve??RBK 05:05, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

No, I think that is just for pages for characters Pokemon. Since Pawniard doesn't have its own page, it might be redundant to lock Georgia's whole page. Playerking95 05:09, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
How about if I make a page for Georgia's Pawniard? I just need to know how to add a page. Pressthebutton 14:24, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
Anime Pokémon pages should be approved by Kenji-girl before doing anything. --Pokemaster97 14:27, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for telling me, Pokemaster97. By the way, I'm not really good at making the complex charts, so I'll need some help. Pressthebutton 14:30, 8 April 2012 (UTC)

Georgia's Pawniard Likely Did NOT Evolve

Here's the deal: Pawniard can only learn Guillotine at level 62, and Georgia's Pawniard clearly knew Guillotine when it first appeared. However, Pawniard evolves into Bisharp 10 levels before. So, how did Pawniard evolve if it knew Guillotine? Who knows, maybe Georgia caught two Pawniard. Pressthebutton 01:51, 6 April 2012 (UTC) P.S. GŌTTĀ CĀTCH THÉM ĀLL!

There is so much wrong with that logic I don't even know where to begin. OK, first, levels are disregarded in the anime. Second, even if levels weren't disregarded in the anime, nothing would be stopping Georgia from stopping Pawniard's evolution until it learned Guillotine and then letting it evolve afterwards. Pawniard don't evolve ONLY at level 52. Level 52 is just the lowest level at which they can attempt to evolve. Pawniard will attempt to evolve at all levels from 52 to 100. Third, even assuming the rest of your logic was right, Pawniard can be bred to know Guillotine at level 1. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 01:54, 6 April 2012 (UTC)
Games =/= anime PattyMan 02:38, 6 April 2012 (UTC)
Are you sure about that last one? The Bulbapedia article for the species Pawniard says that the only Normal-type moves a Pawniard can know as an Egg move are Headbutt and Mean Look. Pressthebutton 14:33, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
Hmm... I don't really get that second reason, but I guess it's possible. Pressthebutton 14:35, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
Those are moves it can't already learn naturally. Natural moves will be passed down from the father when breeding. Also, please respond to everything in one message rather than making multiple messages. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 14:36, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
Edit: Actually, checked it so here's a better explanation: If you have two Bisharp that both know Guillotine, and you breed them, the offspring will have Guillotine too, because Pawniard can also learn Guillotine through level-up. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 14:41, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
Pressthebutton, by your logic, Ash's Turtwig and Torterra are different individuals since Turtwig knew Synthesis.--Den Zen 14:43, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
Likewise Ash's Charmander and Charizard Random Chaos 20:47, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
Ok, I guess all of you are right about this. I mean, Ash's Turtwig clearly evolved. Pressthebutton 16:07, 27 May 2012 (UTC)

Bisharp

A bit off subject, but Bisharp deserves it's own page. Chowolun 00:32, 10 April 2012 (UTC) User:Lucario985

I'm with you. Pressthebutton 16:07, 27 May 2012 (UTC)
Our policy is to give Pokemon articles if it gets some significant amount of focus on it. All Bisharp has done is battle and has shown little to no personality, which means it's not very notable right now. Ataro 17:23, 27 May 2012 (UTC)

I'm gonna be the one to bring it up...

Georgia's Beartic, does it deserve a page? Two influencial battles with Excadrill, a battle in the Don Battle and it helped clear all that moss, saving Iris and co. If the writing for the battles are fleshed out a bit the History section will be strong and Beartic also showed personality in each of its appearances, so what are we thinkin'? Diamond Lanturn CodeName: 05308 12:48, 2 June 2012 (UTC)

"If the writing for the battles are fleshed out a bit the History section"... That part worries me. It may end up looking like a bit stetchy article, like we are trying way too hard to prove a point. If there is nothing much to tell then I don't see a reason to "flesh/flash" anything. Even Paul's Weavile is more notable than Georgia's Beartic. So, it is a 'no', as far as my opinion is concerned. ♫♪ エイディニズ ♪♫ 13:06, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
Doesn't every rival have a page for their main Pokémon? And besides, since this topic was last discussed, Beartic has appeared in the Junior Cup thingy too. Dilophosaurus Rex (talk) 00:30, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
The only Unova Rival (besides Goergia) who doesn't have at least 1 Pokémon with their own page is Burgundy. Beartic with its own page would be nice because there are a lot of things that could be discussed in the History Section. Torpoleon (talk) 00:34, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
Just to answer Dilophosaurus, Bianca's Emboar didn't have a page for a long time. Even if it's their main Pokémon, they aren't guaranteed a page unless they do something. Looking at Georgia's page, all of her Pokémon could get pages in my opinion. If a Pokémon has an episode focused on it (i.e. Her Vanilluxe), it could get a page. (That doesn't mean make a page for her other Pokémon. That's just me nudging the idea.) Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 01:05, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
Well, yes, that was because Bianca's Minccino did more. But Beartic is Georgia's main Pokémon AND it's done the most (by far) out of all of her Pokémon. I'd say that if Paul's Magmortar and Trip's Conkeldurr get pages of their own, then Beartic should get one too. Dilophosaurus Rex (talk) 01:27, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
You are forgetting that Georgia isn't exactly the same as Trip or Paul. They are/were the main rival of the series while Georgia is not. Conkeldurr also stood out far more than most of Trip's Pokémon. Beartic isn't that far ahead of Bisharp. Anyway, I'm thinking about it and someone has a page in the works. --ケンジガール 04:22, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
