The article says that if the game is dropped, it'll freeze. But I dropped my DS countless times, and sometimes it doesn't freeze. Is there a certain elevation that makes it freeze when dropped from. It's for sure to be under 10 feet. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 00:56, 7 March 2010 (UTC)

If anything I think it's talking about Gameboy games because they stick out now since people use the GBA or DS for games...DS games are kinda stuck inside the DS and aren't really capable of coming out unless you press them...--Psyライダー 00:58, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
The same thing happened when I had a Gameboy. No matter what case, it won't freeze when dropped from an inch. The article also says that it happens no matter what Generation game it is. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 01:01, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
Then change it, because it's not true for me either. CuboneKing 01:08, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
Well it says "may also cause the game to freeze", so that means that it's only a possibility of freezing. ~ solaris 01:08, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
My dad threw my game boy colour once years ago and it didn't freeze. (If that helps) OwnageMuch 02:03, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
It probably all depends on if the cartridge comes loose at some point. It's probably not even the throwing moton that causes the freeze, it's probably a cartridge coming loose from its slot. Note that only cartridges tend to have this tendency; if you were to open the Gamecube cover or eject a disc from the Wii while the system was on, you'll be able to resume your game with no ill effects if you follow the onscreen instructions, provided you didn't do this while saving your game (and even then the ill effect would be savefile corruption, not a frozen game). --Shiningpikablu252 03:15, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
Actually, it recently happened to me. My DSi fell off the couch and my HeartGold froze. The game wasn't at all loose from the slot. Should I add it back on? CuboneKing 03:35, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
Probably not. Isolated incidents aren't too particularly notable. --Shiningpikablu252 03:51, 8 April 2010 (UTC)

(resetting indent)It's already there anyway, but there are plenty of times where any console is dropped the game freezes. It's probably some kind of self-protection method, like a BSoD. --SnorlaxMonster 04:01, 8 April 2010 (UTC)

Whenever there's a dirty cartridge, it just stays white in my Generation III games, and it stays on the DS or DSi Menu saying "There is no cartridge in the game slot". It never freezes. I played a game and dropped it, the cartridge flew out! Also, dropping my DS on concrete made the green light disabled. Augustjune380 21:00, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
