In the Anime Section, should it be noted that the GS Ball serves as a MacGuffin? It motivates Ash to go to Johto, but beyond that and the plot of a handful of episodes, it isn't important. Should that bit of trivia be noted?--PikamasterADV 02:11, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

:::Also, If they ARE going back to Johto, there is still a chance, no matter how minute, that the GS Ball will make a reappearance. I mean, if the writers were able to bring back an Item that Ash was given almost 10 years ago, if not 11, then the GS Ball definitely has a chance at being mentioned. I mean, Ash's Thunderstone would have been far more forgotten about than the GS Ball, and if they were actually able to refer to it in a DP episode, then they still have the chance at showing us the GS Ball. ::::: Well with the remakes of Gold and Silver announced, we can only hope that they will revisit Johto and the GS Ball story.Drakolord7 18:56, 25 May 2009 (UTC)
::::::That would be a good way for them to revisit the plot, seeing as in that Pokebeach interview, the writers were made aware that the fans do remember the GS ball, which they had actually hoped we'd forget about, IIRC.  Of course, I thought we'd see Ash's Haunter and Primeape again when they went through Kanto...  [[User:Missingno. Teru-sama is not the GS Ball. I've used a Gameshark to access the event in the English version, which is somehow fully translated even though they never used it. The GS Ball in the US version is simply the GS Ball. What would you expect the item to be named? Teru-sama is a completely different item that functions very unusually. --1338h4x 23:40, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

I'm agreed on that. I'll change it later. Tom Temprotran 14:40, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

MacGuffin Ball

In the Anime Section, should it be noted that the GS Ball serves as a MacGuffin? It motivates Ash to go to Johto, but beyond that and the plot of a handful of episodes, it isn't important. Should that bit of trivia be noted?--PikamasterADV 02:11, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
