: Mmmm. Numbered names. It's an easy way of naming sons - Ichirō, Jirō, Saburō, Shirō, Gorō, Rokurō, Shichirō, Hachirō, Kurō, Jurō, and so on. Not very common with daughters though. - Mmmm. Numbered names. It's an easy way of naming sons - Ichirō, Jirō, Saburō, Shirō, Gorō, Rokurō, Shichirō, Hachirō, Kurō, Jurō, and so on. Not very common with daughters though.
