Flash Fire doesn't work when frozen, should that be noted? Nyktos 01:03, 22 October 2008 (UTC)

Yes. TTEchidna 03:02, 22 October 2008 (UTC)

The "Burned" thing has to be confirmed. Will-o-Wisp makes sense, since it's a fire move, but Google says that Flame Orb doesn't activate this, and Tri-Attack needs to be checked. In fact, Will-o-Wisp shouldn't even burn the target, since it's immune. --Raijinili 03:59, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

What about being burned by using a contact move on a Pokémon who has Flame Body?Laoris 14:21, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

I guess the answer is "no" because of the "only when from Fire-type move" section, but does Flash Fire's power increase activate from the returned BRN of a foe Pokémon with Synchronize who has been inflicted the status? (from a Fire-type move) -- --Solovino 22:20, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

So by exactly how much does Flash Fire "Powers up Fire-type moves if hit by a Fire move" Is it 1.5x, or what? J-Man 19:51, 10 May 2011 (UTC)

From my guess, it's x1.5, from Overgrow's description and article. --Enervation 15:56, 1 September 2011 (UTC)

So sorry to re-ask this, but it seems no one has looked into it. So by exactly how much does Flash Fire "Powers up Fire-type moves if hit by a Fire move" Is it 1.5x, or what?

That's what I was thinking. All of the Pokémon with Flash fire are Fire-type, and aren't Fire-type Pokémon immune to burns? Tk3141 14:24, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
Please don't put your comment in the middle of a discussion that's more than three years old. In answer to your question, yes Fire-type Pokémon are immune to burns. However non-Fire-types can have this ability temporarily through the use of Skill Swap or Trace. Werdnae (talk) 20:14, 19 January 2012 (UTC)

Frozen condition in gen V

...No longer blocks Flash Fire. Proof is: 65-35133-13819 (you can skip to turn 10), I'll try to make a video tomorrow. — ∀ЫъГѣTalk page 17:07, 4 July 2011 (UTC)
