Is this page meant for Pokabu's final evolution? If so, we have it romanized elsewhere, including on Pokabu and Chaobu's pages as "Emboar". --ZestyCactus 18:13, 17 September 2010 (UTC)

This page should be 'Emboar'. Because of the way Japanese characters work, it is spelled 'Enbuoo' using Japanese characters, just like Zekrom is writted 'Zekuromu' etc. Folktaliesin 12:30, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

I understand your concern, but if you want to translate it, try using an online translator like Google translate on the page. It's great for getting the general idea of the text. Possible American football player origin?

Enbuoo possibly may have taken inspiration from American football players, as it is bulky in appearance and the flames around its neck flare up to what resembles shoulder pads. The ball used in American football is sometimes referred to as a "pigskin", and Enbuoo is based on a pig. Its level up and egg moves further reflect this. In American football, players tackle and blitz their way to scoring touchdowns. Enbuoo's moves Tackle, Flare Blitz, Arm Thrust, Endeavor, Body Slam, and Take Down all contribute to this. Defensive football players use their larger weight to get the best of the fast offensive players, as Enbuoo does with its moves Heavy Bomber and Heat Stamp. Unova has football players as trainers this time around as well, so they defenitely were thinking about them when they made the games. True, I realize this and know that Sugimori designed Enbuoo with a Chinese style. However, several Pokémon have more than one inspiration for their designs and moves. Black and White include several references to North American culture. The main reason I suggested this origin was due to Enbuoo's stance and movepool.-- Swagmander 19:52, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
