:::::::::::So, can we put this information to the trivia or not? Was 4Kids critizing itself in that episode?--Pokencyclopedia 20:18, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

Probably. Although Eric Stuart ( James's voice actor ) might of snuck that in there, but I doubt he could say that backwards. Count Caterpie File:Ani010MS.gif 19:56, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
It was probably just a joke at their reputation in online fandoms. Unless you think they are actually admitting to being the devil. --FabuVinny T-C-S 17:00, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
The first step is admitting you have a problem. Count Caterpie File:Ani010MS.gif 18:51, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

Interesting to note

This is the first time Ash has ever taken out a Pokemon while being trapped in a net. Other times, all three characters wait for things to resolve and be saved from the net by their Pokemon. Maybe it's just me but I think Ash is a little stupid for not doing this in previous episodes. --Hoaxygen 08:23, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

Error in the trivia section?

I believe the line on Jessie's chest is just the whistle strap. Can anyone confirm this?- unsigned comment from Ampharos cacturne (talkcontribs)

Eric Stuart stuff again

Eric Stuart's subliminal message is confirmed, and many people, including myself, have tried reversing the gibberish personally. Eric indeed says "Leo Burnett and 4Kids are the devil! Leo Burnett-" only to be stopped by Victribel's screams. I believe this should be added to the article because it is confirmed, and why do you say it's not notable? Come on, Brock and James guy trying to mock 4Kids for no apparent reason, and then couple of years later getting very angry when PUSA took over seems pretty notable. ////Mutak\\\\ (Talk) 07:20, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

The thing that sucks is that the only way to cite it is to link to a video of it... and that's not gonna get us fans at Nintendo HQ. TTEchidna 08:10, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
It's still an opinion. People claim they saw UFOs and photos but does the government recognize it as fact? No. --ケンジガール 08:37, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
I can reserve just about any line, and make The King wonder why there's no money in the fridge for instance. Point is, you're always going to get something different when someone reverses the lines, and it's completely coincidental that this happens to sound like that. Voice actors are paid to recite what's directly on their lines, not make subliminal messages that can ONLY be found out if someone reverses the lines, which are coincidental anyway. This is not note-worthy at all. Rai Marshall 08:48, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
So, use Audacity and see for yourself. This subliminal messages, unlike others, can really be heard. It' not like the ones where you hear "saat-uh" and think you hear "satan", Eric really seems like he was saying that. - unsigned comment from Mutak94 (talkcontribs)
No thank you. It is still a pure coincidence, regardless of how clear or unclear it is. It is not notable at all to be put on this wiki. Rai Marshall 08:58, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
I'd say it's coincidental if he said something irrational and unrelated to the subject, regardless of how clear or unclear it is, for example "My computer jumped tomorrow" or "Table bugs are the best". However, he mentions 4Kids and some guy who advertised Nintendo. His sentence is completely related to the subject ////Mutak94\\\\ (Talk) 09:37, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
It's actually quite obvious, if you actually open up Audacity and reverse it. I don't know how it isn't notable how not just the voice actor, but also (possibly) the writers and several others involved decided to put in a shoutout, however negative, to 4kids and the "father" of advertising using cartoons. To say that it isn't confirmed and then to not listen is kind of backwards. As was said before, this isn't the ridiculous kind of backward message where if you listen to "Another One Bites the Dust" backwards it kind of barely says "It's fun to smoke marijuana." This was quite obviously put in by the dubbers. Girog 01:29, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
Just what I was talking about. ////Mutak94\\\\ (Talk) 08:04, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
Link to video showing it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZlIcJbbm08&feature=related It's irritating if moderators, not only don't consider putting in legitimate evidence, but don't even look into it. And it's legitimate, as when the clip is played forwards, James sounds like he's talking backwards (those little scratching sounds prove this) and when played forwards, it doesn't sound like it's being played backwards, and sounds perfectly clear. And, no, it does not mean it's a coincidence only because it was found when playing it backwards. That's a generalization and an assumption.--- unsigned comment from LD1808 (talkcontribs)
