The entire article talks about her name being Daisy, where did May come from? Can someone clarify where the name May Oak originated from, and if she is primarily called Daisy, why is this article not called so? - Ferret

My guess is that they just made up a name because her real name wasn't known until Gold and Silver (at least in the English translation; it could be like Kanto's name in that it was given in the Japanese versions but not in English). --Evice 00:35, 20 September 2009 (UTC)

Please just read the page and the talk conversation directly below this. It's rather obvious --CherryParanoia 10:30, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for bringing that up.

This is something I wanted to bring up, too.

The ONLY place where she's ever refered to as May is in the Electric Tail of Pikachu.

In all other versions, she's Daisy.

I really think the article should be changed. The only reason some people think of her as May is because that was the only name given for her till GSC. Even then, though - it wasn't from a very official source. But in all games and manga afterwards, she's Daisy. And thanks to the Fame Checker and FR LG, I think that's how most people think of her.

Not to mention that the eary choice of May only causes confusion, anyways.

Okay, in that case I think we should move it to Daisy Oak, but leave a small note about name confusions. - Ferret 01:32, 25 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Last name

When is it stated that her last name is Oak? I don't recall the games stating which side of her and Blue's family Professor Oak is on, which would determine what their last name is (or isn't). If he's their mother's father, their last name wouldn't be Oak. --Evice 00:38, 20 September 2009 (UTC)

Uh, here, specifically the one on Four Island. Werdnae (talk) 00:55, 20 September 2009 (UTC)
Didn't notice that. I haven't played FireRed/LeafGreen for several years. --Evice 00:28, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

Feabas confusion

"...it will also raise the Pokémon's Beauty stat. This is not displayed anywhere in-game, and the Pokémon must be seen from the point of view of Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum to notice. Despite this, Feebas whose Beauty is maxed out this way can evolve into Milotic, unlike in FireRed and LeafGreen, where the Beauty stat did not exist in any shape or form."

I'm confused by that statement. Does it mean Feabas will or will not evolve in FR/LG if given enough massages?Morgil27 23:57, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

If the Beauty stat doesn't exist in FR/LG, then a Pokémon that evolves through the Beauty stat can't evolve.—Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 00:04, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

Zensho picture

There should be one, right? Does anyone have clear scans of her? The best I got get out of my scans was [this]. I would have masked it but I thought that would look a bit weird, plus I'm not good at that. Lovely Rose 20:36, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
