Is the effect of Cute Charm applied before or after determining which Pokémon will appear? For example, if the player is in a location in which Chansey can appear, does leading with a male Pokémon with Cute Charm make Chansey more likely to appear? The current wording of the article implies this is the case, but I think this is unlikely. --<span style="color:#A70000">Snorlax</span><span style="color:#0000A7">Monster</span> 17:25, 20 February 2015 (UTC)

Is it worth spelling out more effects on PID?
Namely, the fact if you have two pokémon generated from the same set and they have the same nature the entire PID is the same. That means ability slot, performance, size and wurmple's evolution are all the same too.
Is it also worth pointing out that Cute Charm has no affect on IVs? Given that IVs and PID are tied in Gen IV via the RNG mechanics. (the pokemon is generated normally, then cute charm forces the PID to change whilst leaving the IVs the same as before) JMVB - literally it doesn&#39;t stand for anything (talk) 10:55, 26 January 2017 (UTC)

Is this trivia worthy?

Is it trivia worthy pointing out that Milotic is the only Pokémon that can have Cute Charm as her Hidden Ability instead of one of her normal ones? Also, is it worth mentioning that Sylveon is the only one that has Cute Charm as her only Ability (excluding Hidden Ability)? --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 19:53, 21 May 2014 (UTC)

No, because it's clear from the page that's the case. Kai * the Arc Toraph 20:08, 21 May 2014 (UTC)

Ditto / Cute Charm on a Genderless PKMN

I don't know if it's relevant, but I was fighting with a Ditto who Impostered itself into my Female Jigglypuff and when my Male Smeargle hit it he became infatuated. I don't know if it's because Ditto copied the Jigglypuff's gender, if it's a bug or if Cute Charm works differently from Attract and Genderless PoKéMoN can infatuate everybody, probably it's just the first one as it would copy gender differences on PoKéMoN that have them. - unsigned comment from Daniel kenta (talkcontribs)

Effect of encounter rates

Is the effect of Cute Charm applied before or after determining which Pokémon will appear? For example, if the player is in a location in which Chansey can appear, does leading with a male Pokémon with Cute Charm make Chansey more likely to appear? The current wording of the article implies this is the case, but I think this is unlikely. --SnorlaxMonster 17:25, 20 February 2015 (UTC)
