Notability of Trivia

Cianwood was the first Fighting-type Pokémon Gym where the Trainer received an official Pokémon League badge.

I don't think this is a notable enough trivia, since a similar trivia piece would go on to other articles; e.g., Rock-type for Pewter, Water-type for Cerulean... I tried deleting it but Yami Takashi reverted it with the edit summary: 

That is no excuse for removing it, the trivia is notable

I'm questioning the notability here because I don't want to start an edit/revert war. - s.Combusken 02:06, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
