HG/SS - Appearance at National Park on Wednesdays (?)

Somewhere it should be said that Bugsy can appear at National Park on Wednesdays (possibly everyday that is before a bug-catching contest). I'm not sure exactly what has to be done, though, in order for him to appear. I'm pretty sure it's after all 16 badges and the elite four, possibly after you have his phone number, too. It could be after defeating Red and catching Groudon/Kyogre, too. He talks about how tomorrow there's going to be a bug catching contest, and goes on to say something like "If it's <player>, I'm sure you can win the contest!" I'm playing the japanese version though, so might not be what the english version says lol. -- ?

I was able to take a picture with him and I don't have his phone number yet. Updated the article to reflect this. --Pyritie 11:21, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

His name

His Bugsy an abbreviation of a more common first name?

Bugs me in Bugsy

What bugs me in Bugsy article? Look, we have the same picture twice in article this one and this one. Kinda the same picture, isn't it? I think we should delete the worse-quality one. --Maxim 09:10, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

Metapods in Anime

Bugsy has also many Metapods in the Gym (In the anime). Mateussf 18:00, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

Gender

Is Bugsy male or female? I always refered to Bugsy as "she" or "her" Sk8torchic 15:58, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

And here is another example. I also mistook him for a girl when first playing Crystal. And I believe almost everyone did because of his feminine appearance. Well, even Gold did. Shouldn't we somehow notice this in Trivia? --ЫъГЬ 09:53, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

Trivia

Why can we not state Also, until Generation IV when Aaron was introduced in the Elite Four, he was the only character in the games with a major role and specialized with Bug-type Pokémon in the trivia section??? It is a good piece of trivia, and it is also correct. --Theryguy512 02:27, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

Because Generation IV came around. We can say "Until Generation IV, Celebi was the only Grass-type legendary," but that doesn't make it notable trivia. And I'm not sure how both Bugsy and Aaron have a major role in the games, anyway. ~ overgrownsol 02:30, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
They are major because they are Gym Trainers/Elite Four members, and must be beaten in order to advance in the game. --Theryguy512 02:33, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
Until Generation III, Brock was the only Rock-type leader. Until Generation III, Misty was the only Water-type leader. Until Generation III, Blaine was the only Fire-type leader. Get the picture? — THE TROM — 03:02, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

Errors

This article is faulty all of the pokémon that bugsy owns even in the rematches with him are female I just watched it on You Tube ! Frosslass 16:02, 26 September 2009 (UTC)

His Gym match is definitely correct, I checked it myself. As for the rematches pretty much every gym leaders rematch is incorrect as I have not gotten to them. Hope that helps. –MasterKenobi 18:40, 26 September 2009 (UTC)

Grammatical Error

I don't mean to sound like the grammar police or anything, but the sentence "He hands out the Hive Badge to Trainers which defeat him." in the first paragraph should be "He hands out the Hive Badge to Trainers who defeat him." --Lulu_chan126 22:25, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

Changed. —darklordtrom 03:28, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

Metapod/Kakuna Moveset

In the HeartGold and SoulSilver teams, Metapod and Kakuna are listed as having their only moves be Tackle and Poison Sting respectively. They never used anything but those two moves, but shouldn't they both have String Shot and Harden by default? I don't know if it would be in the code or something, I just like to check up on movesets of the Gym Leaders as I'm replaying the games. SkittyLover116 04:22, 10 August 2011 (UTC)

Redirect?

Do you think someone can make a redirect for his Japanese name, since all of the other Johto Gym Leaders have redirects for that? - unsigned comment from PowerfulStarmie (talkcontribs)

Done. --Pokemaster97 20:04, 14 January 2012 (UTC)

Trivia

Is it worth noting that Bugsy is the only trainer in the games who uses a Shedinja? Tk3141 23:06, 13 March 2012 (UTC)

I don't think so. Werdnae (talk) 00:11, 14 March 2012 (UTC)
