:::Actually, Twineedle has been known to poison Steel-types, at least in Generation II (although the chances it was changed for later generations is highly unlikely...).  Being a Bug-type move, it's the only known move that can inflict poison anywhere that isn't of the Poison-type (which Steel is immune to), hence it can poison a Steel-type.  --Shiningpikablu252 18:11, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

::::The questions is if it still poisons, or if steel types are now immune. Also, Poison Point or something like that inflicts poison as an ability. I should make a multi-hit and Twineedle test team (when I get the time) to check some things that are uncertain. Gywall 18:40, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

Steel type Pokémon can not be poisoned.
Actually, Twineedle has been known to poison Steel-types, at least in Generation II (although the chances it was changed for later generations is highly unlikely...). Being a Bug-type move, it's the only known move that can inflict poison anywhere that isn't of the Poison-type (which Steel is immune to), hence it can poison a Steel-type. --Shiningpikablu252 18:11, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
The questions is if it still poisons, or if steel types are now immune. Also, Poison Point or something like that inflicts poison as an ability. I should make a multi-hit and Twineedle test team (when I get the time) to check some things that are uncertain. Gywall 18:40, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
