Latios?

Does Latios shapeshift into Bianca, too? I thought it was only Latias. --Johans 20:16, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

It was just Latias. --FabuVinny T-C-S 20:28, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

Table

I know we don't have Latias befriending Ash, but Latias shouild be in Bianca's party table!--KukiTalk 21:25, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

I'll fix it.--CoolPikachu! 21:29, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
Done.--CoolPikachu! 21:32, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

Kiss

When she kissed Ash that must be Latias, because if she was Bianca would she speak to Ash when she caught up to him. --Pborri (talk) 18:53, 10 August 2012 (UTC)

Or she didn't intentionally speak to make Ash think she was Latias. We can't be sure.--Den Zen 19:02, 10 August 2012 (UTC)
Lorenzo said she went to market and Latias liked Ash more than Bianca, besides why did she want Ash to think she was Latias. --Pborri (talk) 19:11, 10 August 2012 (UTC)

English voice actor

Why does both M05, and Tara Jayne have her as the voice of Bianca? — Reshi643 23:15, 25 July 2013 (UTC)

I don't know, but for the record, these are the relevant edit summaries that I took into account when removing Lisa Ortiz and putting back up the {{MissingInfo}} template. Note that both of the users who tried to add Lisa Ortiz have a record on their talk pages of being rebuked for assuming voice actors (and the former has even been permabanned for it), while Jo the Marten changed it to "Unknown", citing a reliable source who wishes to remain anonymous. I think "Unknown" seems like the safest course of action until/unless somebody can get in contact with someone official who would know. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 00:14, 26 July 2013 (UTC)
Hogwash. What purpose would hiding behind unknown serve Tara when she's credited for the movie like anything else she ever did in the series? Rosebr10 (talk) 05:04, 9 April 2014 (UTC)
Well, is she listed in the credits of the movie (provide a screencap to prove that)? Does it sound like any of her other roles? If the answer to both of those questions is yes, then it's a safe bet that it's her (I'll leave it up to the admins to edit the information though, unless Tara herself confirms it). GamerGeek 18:50, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
Even if the answer to both of those questions is yes, it's still not enough evidence for Bulbapedia. It would still just be guessing by ear with the credits providing slightly better odds of accuracy. There is nothing wrong with having "Unknown" in the voice actor box if we can't get official confirmation about a voice actor. It is better to say we don't know than to have even a tiny chance of being wrong. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 18:59, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
That's why I said it was a "safe bet" and not a definite confirmation. I've managed to get verification of various character voices from some of the VAs themselves though, so I'll try addressing this issue with Tara as well (if I can get a hold of her that is*). GamerGeek 22:24, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
I don't know "what you mean by that," and please don't get snippy with me on public talk pages. You weren't clear whether you intended "safe bet" the way you and Rosebr have been doing before you were told that credits aren't good enough sources, so I thought it was worth it to clarify in advance so no gun-jumping would happen, either on your part, hers, or someone else's. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 23:32, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
'Scuse me for butting in here, but how exactly are credits with the actors names not a good enough source? Credits from an episode/movie aren't made by random people listening and guessing, they're (ideally) made by the people who cast the roles and oversaw the voicing. I don't exactly understand what exactly you mean when you claim they're not good enough. Schiffy (瀬藤健二) (Talk Contribs) 02:15, 5/7/2014 (UTC)
Pokemon doesn't list voice actors by role; it just dumps a bunch of names down without saying who voiced what. There's staff confirmation that credits aren't sufficient on both Rosebr's and GamerGeek's talk pages, if you want to see for yourself. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 02:36, 7 May 2014 (UTC)

(resetting indent) Ugh, I forgot that some shows do that. Personally I hate that, and I agree, not reliable enough. Schiffy (瀬藤健二) (Talk Contribs) 02:42, 5/7/2014 (UTC)

Yes, I've received some words for some of my contributions, but quite a bit of my work has been for the better. Kenji-girl and others did a lot more harm than you'd think, and I think everyone here should check out my user page instead of my talk page to see just what someone who can operate outside their constraints can really do. Rosebr10 (talk) 05:53, 31 May 2014 (UTC)
Does it say "Tara Jayne as BIANCA"? No, it doesn't. This is why credits are not a valid source, they don't say who voiced who. And the elimination process is still playing by ear.--ForceFire 05:56, 31 May 2014 (UTC)
Apparently Tara Sands voiced her. Tara Jayne's article mentions that is her birth name, so it looks like we know now. --SnorlaxMonster 12:48, 7 August 2014 (UTC)
