001Bulbasaur RG.png Due to special coding in place in the article, the artwork featured on this article will change every year on November 21 and October 15 in celebration of the releases of Gold and Silver in Japan, and Gold and Silver in the United States. This will only affect the artwork shown in the infobox. This changes every year, so when the time comes, here to return to the page and change the display.

Grass-type

Is it true that Bellossom is the only Pokémon that loses one of its types when evolving from it pre-evolved form? I can't think of any others. If it is true, is it notable enough for a mention? --Someone Else 22:38, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

Some change their secondary type but I can't think of any that actively lose it.
Maybe Eevee... --FabuVinny |Talk Page| 14:30, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

New Artwork

Since most Generation II Pokémon have older, un-updated artwork with a notable difference in style from the newer art, where did the header image of Bellossom come from? I don't believe it's from FR/LG as stated. -Stephen93 18:46, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

The image page says it was taken from Pokemon.co.jp. That's all I have to offer, I'm afraid. --Marton(I'm Jewish)imos 18:49, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

Re. Reverting of my edit.

Ok, if mega evolutions don't count in that regard, then why do they count if we say a Pokémon has the highest stat of all Pokémon of that type?

Mega Evolutions don't count as evolutions, it's just a powered-up form of a Pokémon and they're different from evolutions so Bellossom is the only Pokémon that is pure-type that is evolved from a dual-type Pokémon. --Cinday123 (Talk) 01:21, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
And I don't see how the highest stat trivia has anything to do with this. Mega Charizard Y having the highest Special Attack of all Fire and Flying types is true, Mega Aggron being Aggron's evolved form is not true.--Den Zen 01:27, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
I do agree that they shouldn't count. But why is there no trivia saying "This Pokémon has the highest stat of this type of all Pokémon that are not mega evolutions"? That's something I don't get at all. Blaze The Movie Fan (talk) 01:38, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
That's because Tangrowth has the highest stat of all non-Mega Evolved and non-Legendary Pokémon that are Grass-type. - unsigned comment from Cinday123 (talkcontribs)
