:My first question is... what the hell are you doing trying to enter a level 1 Pokémon you just hatched into the Battle Frontier for? Secondly, it should be obvious: too low a level. Remember, in the Battle Hall, you keep your level, and the opponents level up to it. Can't level up to 1. Lowest allowed is level 30. == 'Base' BP? ==
I know that the BP given for each streak increases as your total streak does (for all Frontier events), and that you gain 20BP for beating a Frontier Brain regardless. But would it be worth listing the lowest amount of BP given by each event? As in, the BP for clearing the first 7 (10 at the Hall) trainers in the various modes. For eg, the Arcade gives 2BP for the first streak in Single mode, but 7 (iirc) per player over Wi-Fi (and presumably local wireless too). I'm pretty certain it's different again for single-player Doubles mode. Whereas the Tower gives 3BP for a Singles streak, and the Hall offers just 1. I think it would be useful if these were added - the reason I came to this page in the first place was to find out which Frontier event would offer me the most BP. --[[User:Raylax|Raylax]] 20:11, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Factory= 5 base
Tower= 3 base
Arcade= 2 base
Castle= 4 or 5 base (can't remember D: )
Hall= 1 base
That's for Single and Doubles. It's also for Multi in the tower whether with a friend over wireless or one of the [[Stat Trainers]]. They go up 1 base BP every 14 battles. Untill we have all of them though, we shouldn't put them up. If you can get the base BP for Wi-fi, then we're good. Battle Zone

Why does this site refer to it as replacing the Battle Zone? According to new maps, the Battle Zone is still there, and this will just take place of the Battle Park.

----HoennMaster 03:43, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

hint to GSDS?

Its gonna be set in Johto as in Gen 3 they visited Kanto again in the anime like the games did so Gen 4 will have to put frontier in a region and the only one left is Johto, if they are plannig to go to Johto again in the game they will in the anime as the 2 are linked. Guardian of Earth 13:06, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

That was hard to understand but you're saying this may be evidence for a GSDS? Probably already on that page. And at any rate, it is NOT for sure that there WILL BE a GSDS. It may come in the next generation. If you do the math, this would that Gen V would have to make remakes of Hoenn and Kanto. Gen 7 would have to make 3 remakes. Gen 9 would make 4. It's exponentially increasing. (PS, I hope Pokémon makes it to 9 generations) Aura-Knight 14:13, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Not really. If they don't dump compatibility with Gen I-IV in Gen V, there'd be no need for remakes. The reason why FRLG came about was because of the lack of compatibility between Gen I/II and III. Same would be for GSDS. TTEchidna 04:43, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
...and if thinking just a LITTLE, that arguments makes no sense. Why do you think they added the legendary birds and golems for capturing in Hoenn, for example? Wondered if that it's because MANY players owns DPPt, but NOT R/S/E/FR/LG, making it HARD for them to capture the Hoenn, Kanto OR Johto Pokémon, unless SOME of them where added to Platinum? And that they STILL NEVER CAN complete the PokéDex, UNLESS GSDS IS RELEASED, WITH AN EXTENCTION OF THE SEVII ISLANDS AND OTHER LOCATIONS. Why do you even THINK they made DP compatible with JOHTO-GAMES FOR THE FIRST, IF THE NEVER PLANNED TO RELEASE ANY? And yes, the Battle Frontier DOES INDEED confirm that Johto WILL RETURN. Because, if I'm not all wrong, thinking that they choose to have the PREVIOUS in the series, WILL lead to having the NEW one, with ASH attending it. And my very certain that they won't place it in either Kanto, Hoenn or Sinnoh as they've been explored more recently, and we can dream of the Orange Aerchipelago, Sevii Islands or Orre, with leaves Johto as the ONLY answer. And remember; Orange Aerchipelago where created as a FILLER between Kanto and Johto, IN THE ANIME AND MANGA ONLY, so excepting it, EVERY region explored in the anime, EVEN TWICE, have also been explored so many times in the games and manga. 1. This conversation is nearly two months old at this point. I don't think there's much of a point yelling about things we didn't even KNOW back then, like the legendary birds.
  2. This belongs more in the forums (where, by the way, I've already made a post to this effect, only without the caps and anime stuff).
  3. CAPS LOCK IS CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL. LET US ALWAYS COMMUNICATE USING CAPS LOCK AND NEVER LET ANYONE TELL US OTHERWISE. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 20:27, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

Why?

Why is this called Battle Frontier? tc26 06:43, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

Same reason that the Hoenn one is? Look on the Platinum site for "バトルフロンティア", that's the Japanese for it. It's why we knew the Sinnoh Battle Tower was the Battle Tower. TTEchidna 08:16, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
Heck, in that gif of screenshots, it says right in there, "WELCOME TO THE BATTLE FRONTIER!" TTEchidna 08:17, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

ANOTHER?! Where's the location in the anime now?! I mean, what's so wrong with just having one Battle Frontier? Anyway, I got a good feeling what the plot device is in Season 12...Paul'sDialga (John 01:02, 29 October 2008 (UTC))

"What's so wrong with just having one Battle Frontier?" That it's TOO DAMN AWESOME to be forgotten after one generation, that's what's so wrong with having just one. The question should be "Why wasn't the Battle Frontier in D/P?".
And WTF is wrong with having MULTIPLE Battle Frontiers? Spideym 21:52, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

image shape

the shape of the image we have indicates that it will fit in the battle park area, therefore it is possible that it will just be translated as an "improved battle park". lord mada 09:14, 10 August 2008 (UTC)

Prinplup head?

It looks kinda like Swampert's head as well. At least, that's what I thought the first time I saw the artwork for it. Which do you think fits more?

Theories on the other facilities.

1) The Castle-like structure might be the equivalent of the Battle Palace (in Hoenn).

Head Brain

Pun aside, is it Palmer or Kate? There seems to be some confusion on that issue. I personally think, because Palmer remains animated at the end of the battle and following from Anabel, that he is the leader. Aura-Knight 05:19, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Names of the new Frontier Brains

Probably people realized,all japanese names of these people are the names of Plants!With the exception of Palmer ,who was introduced in D/P.But Palmer's name,besides the similarity to his son's name,Pearl;is similar to Palm tree.It's as if Nintendo knew about the new Battle Frontier long time ago...- unsigned comment from Uxie legend (talkcontribs)

The vast majority of significant NPCs are named after plants (in Japanese). Gym Leaders, professors, Frontier Brains, the Elite Four, the PC developers...--Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 02:35, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

New Facility Names

Besides the Tower and Factory, Serebii has revealed new names for the remaining facilities:

  • Battle Roulette=Battle Arcade
  • Battle Stage=Battle Hall
  • Battle Castle is the only one that doesn't change. --Jonouchi 21:46, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

Retiring

Does retiring reset your win streak? Also, should there be a section explaining what each of the options presented to the player means? King Neoterikos 08:24, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

Obviously. What else would "retire" mean? And I intend to revamp this page as I've done to the Hoenn one. TTEchidna 10:17, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

171st Battle Hall battle?

Does anybody know what happens after the 170th battle at the Battle Hall? Like, after you beat Argenta for the 2nd time? Sidnoea 19:11, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
